Quiet and relaxing spot

Charming place

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely renovated and furnished old-stone house with its big park and swimming pool. Helpful hosts, beautiful countryside and villages nearby.

Simply Lovely

Lovely stay in this tastefully converted former pig farm! One other family and the welcoming owners on site. Great pool and large garden with everything you need to relax.

We spent two weeks in Pimple gite. Lovely accommodation, grounds and pool. In a good location to explore the countryside. Well equipped and helpful hosts / owners. Great to share with family / friends in other gite.

Loved the Lot

Very comfortable, the right size for us. Great outdoor area with a large dining table and sitting area. Ideally situated for exploring the Bastides of the lot valley.

lovely gite , clean and comfortable . Access to second floor bedroom has a tight and very narrow winding steps to manœuvre .Lovely pool and a myriad of wonderful villages to discover in the area. Welcoming host and hostess, Jo and Paul.

Wonderful setting. So peaceful, Jo and Paul were very friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive at all. Super comfy beds, and lovely bedding. Fantastic stay for the four of us. Highly recommended. Thank you both xx

A super week

Our gite was part of an old hamlet in a delightful setting. Both the property and the grounds were very well maintained and our hosts, Jo and Paul, were attentive and friendly throughout. The pool was much used during a gloriously hot week. Thank you Delphine!

Superbly peaceful cottage in beautiful countryside

We enjoyed a fantastic week relaxing at the cottage and visiting the various bastide towns. The accommodation is well maintained and very comfortable with modern and clean bathrooms. The kitchen is small but has everything needed to self cater; although it can be challenging to fit everything into the space saver dishwasher. Immediately outside is a covered area where we spent most of our time; protected from the sun and watching birds in the beautiful meadow. We were very sorry to go home!

Superbe

We stayed in LA Terisse for 2 weeks. It was simply lovely; quiet, rural but not far from amenities. We loved the cottage, which was well supplied and very comfortable with plenty of character. The veranda is excellent, allowing us to sit outside late or even if the weather turned a bit inclement. The wildlife which is my passion was a joy to watch, and the surrounding countryside amazing. Alun is a discreet and perfect host. We would fully recommend Gite Pimple, giving it 5 stars.

Out of this world

A big thank you to Jo and Paul who couldn't do enough for us and treated us like family. The nicest host we have met. The facilities are outstanding with a wonderful pool and relaxing gardens (including the visiting deer). The Gite was perfect, exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need to make it a home from home. A perfect place for peace, quiet and sun but there are some great places to visit; - Villareal Monday night food market very lively and a great night - Fumel Thursday night food market a slightly quieter night but just as much fun - Issigeac Sunday day market really lively and some good bargains to be had. We could not recommend this place or hosts highly enough. We will be back!

La Terrisse

Nice welcome from Paul, who was very helpful during our stay. A little more flexibility over the arrival time would have been appreciated from Jo. We appreciated the welcome pack. Disappointed that the loungers were removed from the pool before we left, without our knowledge. It felt like it was the end of their season and they were keen to close down. The fridge was old and had some black mould. The property would benefit from more crockery and glasses.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review concerning your stay with us. The check in time is set for good reasons. You did however, arrive early and we showed you immediately to your gite. You are correct that some loungers were removed from the pool terrace. We do not understand why this disappointed you. There were loungers remaining on the patio for each of your party. The other loungers were cleaned and put into storage to preserve their condition. With regards to the fridge, we can catagorically say that there was no mould. The fridge and gite had been thoroughly cleaned the day of your arrival. In fact, there was no mould in the fridge upon your departure, even given the condition that you left the gite in. We wish that you had raised this with us at the time so that your concerns could have been addressed. We asked you on several occassions if everything was ok with your stay and you did not take the time to mention either the fridge, the lack of crockery or glasses or the sun loungers. All of the observations you have raised could have been easily rectified if you had only communicated them to us. We have never had our cleanliness questioned and endeavour never to recieve such a review again. We hope that the remainder of your holidays in France were more agreeable.

Séjour impeccable - gîte à recommander à 100% !

Accueil extrêmement sympathique de Jo et Paul. Le gîte Delphine correspond à la description de l’annonce. Il est confortable et bien agencé, mais à vrai dire, nous avons passé presque tout notre temps sur la terrasse, bien équipée, bien ombragée, et avec une belle vue ! Les 2 chambres sont bien aménagées, et les salles de bain très propres. Nous avons apprécié que les serviettes de bain et les draps de piscine soient mis à notre disposition. Un ‘kit de départ’ est disponible sur place (éponge, produit vaisselle, sacs poubelle, sel, poivre, huile d’olive, etc), c’est très utile, ainsi que des livres et des jeux de société. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le panier de bienvenue, merci ! Le cadre est reposant, super calme. La piscine – à quelques mètres du gîte – est bien entretenue, idéale avec les transats et les parasols, et aussi avec une vue splendide sur le grand jardin, les plantes et les arbres. Il y a beaucoup de beaux villages à découvrir dans la région, Jo et Paul sont toujours disponibles et peuvent répondre à toutes vos questions, et vous donner de bons conseils sur les sites touristiques, les restaurants, les marchés, etc. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour aux Terrisses.

Détente à Terrisse

Nous avons passé de superbe vacances et bien profité du gîte qui est confortable pour une famille de 4 personnes, bien équipé, literie excellente, le cadre est magnifique (piscine, jardin) super bien entretenu, il y fait très calme. Jo et Paul sont très sympathiques et bien attentionnés. La région est intéressante pour la découverte de beaux villages et balades à vélos, détente à la piscine + apero sur la belle terrasse c'est super. Le gîte est situé près de Libos avec tous les commerces essentiels (boulangerie, boucherie, marché). Merci à Jo et à Paul pour votre bon acceuil. Endroit super agréable à recommander!

A peace of tranquility

We had an amazing stay at La Terrisse, the gite had everything we needed and the pool was amazing especially in the 39oc heat! There are supermarkets in Fumel which is literally a 5 minute drive and Jo and Paul were so helpful and nothing was too much x if you need to reset and recharge the batteries then here is the place to do it…….

Merveilleux séjour dans un cottage cosy

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour ! Très grande propriété avec un beau jardin bien entretenu. La piscine est vraiment un plus. Les cottages sont très charmants et bien équipés. Nous avons apprécié le calme, les nombreuses petites attentions laissées ça et là par Jo. Paul et Jo sont disponibles et veillent à notre confort. A recommander !

Excellent stay at Gite Delphine

We had a fantastic week staying at Gite Delphine, a perfect place for a family. The Gite was spotless and well appointed without losing rustic charm. Jo and Paul were wonderful hosts- friendly, kind and attentive (but discrete)! Plenty of games and toys for kids, not to mention the fabulous pool! We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!

Super gite in the Lot valley

This is a lovely gite in the Lot valley. As two couples, we liked the layout of two double bedrooms with their own ensuite facilities. The kitchen and fridge are a bit small but having the large outside patio in the shade more than made up for this issue. The pool area is well supplied with comfortable loungers and the view is very pleasant. This is a great area for exploring castles and the bastide towns like Monflanquin. There are a number of good restaurants within a short drive.

Super vacances au calme !

Très beau gîte, au calme, avec piscine partagée. Le lieu est reposant et les hôtes adorables et discrets ! Le gîte est très confortable et proche de beaucoup d’attractions et notamment de beaux châteaux !
