This was our third stay at the cottage...we feel very at home and look forward to visiting again! The cottage is exactly as pictured; very charming, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. We love that the cottage is walking distance to town; great area for lots of dog walks. Great communication with Vance. The welcome banana bread and wine are such a treat!

The home was spotless and beautiful, inside and out! The location is a perfect distance from the town and beach. We walked everywhere. The huge yard was private and peaceful. The landscape and flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We had beautiful weather so we were able to enjoy the cozy porch and grill. Everything was perfect!! Vance was so kind and made check-in a breeze. My family and I are hoping to return next fall.

Awesome home, tons of room and very comfortable. Easy access to downtown Harbor Springs, ski hills, Petoskey, and more. Great host, easy to communicate with and super helpful.

Another great stay!

We enjoyed our June stay at the cottage so much that we came back for a September visit! Once again: beautiful downtown cottage; exactly as pictured; very clean and comfortable; close to everything; great communication with Vance. We can't wait to come back next year!

Loved it!

Absolutely wonderful time in a lovely cottage a short walk from downtown Harbor Springs! From the moment we walked in and saw the wine and homemade goodies waiting for us, it was sublime. Large, clean, and very well appointed, the cottage suited our adult kids, grand baby and dogs perfectly and made for a very enjoyable family getaway. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Beautiful Home - Stellar Communication!

Made a last minute plan to rent this home in the heart of Harbor Springs - location, home, amenities were all as advertised - home was well stocked with all the needs expected and then some. Even better was the communication from Vance who was highly responsive and accommodating of our needs.

This home is absolutely beautiful — thoughtfully crafted with attention to detail in every corner. The décor features bright pops of color and an inviting mix of textures, complemented by interesting coffee table books that make the space feel both stylish and personal. Every fixture and finish is lovely, from the elegant tilework to the lighting and cabinetry.What I especially appreciated is that it’s not just form over function — the house truly has everything I needed. There’s ample closet space, a washer and dryer, and the bathrooms are both elegant and practical. It’s clear that comfort was just as much a priority as design.The location couldn’t be better — just a two-block walk to great shopping and restaurants. The host was easy to reach and made check-in and check-out effortless. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed home in a perfect location.

Ski trip

We decided to stay in Harbor Springs for our annual family ski trip instead of on-property at Boyne. We weren’t disappointed. Cozy cottage within walking distance to town for dinner, drinks and shopping. Would love to come back in the summer.

Fantastic home away from home

We had an amazing visit in Harbor springs! Vance was the ultimate host and checked on us throughout our visit. The house was well appointed and it did not lack for anything! We had 2 families of 4 who fit comfortably after full days of skiing who could come relax, play games and eat. It is close to downtown for walk to Main Street for dinner. We will comeback again!

Lovely stay!

Such a beautiful cottage—every detail! Very clean and comfortable. Exactly as pictured. We loved the close proximity to town. Excellent communication with Vance; quick responses to any questions. Very easy check in process. The homemade banana bread and wine upon arrival were such a warm welcome! We had a fabulous time. One of our very favorite vacation rentals- we’d love to rent again!

Perfect location and exactly as advertised...

The property owner does a great job from initial request to book through entire stay. The property is exactly as advertised. The location to downtown Harbor Springs is perfect as our teenage kids enjoy walking to and from town. The distance to Nubs and Boyne Highlands is a short 10-15 minute drive, which is great for skiing and other activities. We hope to be able to rent this house again!! Thank You!!

Perfect week in Harbor Springs!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The house is located in a perfect spot to walk into town and or to start off on a bike ride. The property is beautifully maintained (very clean) and stocked with everything that is needed for the week. It has a nice front porch to sit and visit or read a book or just to enjoy the beautiful flowers. We especially appreciate that we are able to bring our dogs too. Vance is very responsive to any questions and the welcoming bakery treats and wine was so nice too! We love Harbor Springs and love staying at this property!

Northern Michigan Perfection

From our first communication with Lance when we inquired about the property til our Monday morning farewells, the “cottage” (nope, it’s a 4 bed/2 1/2 bath house!) was a perfect home base to have friends experience the beauty and inspiration of northern Michigan for the first time. While my wife and I have been coming up for golf and walks and color and everything for 40 years, friends from the northeast had not ventured up. They fell in love and we’re already working on our calendars for our 2026 visit! Two thumbs WAY up!! Thank you, Lance!

Just perfect!

We have rented houses in the area in the past and this House was just perfect! 2 blocks from downtown and the waterfront. Harbor Springs is a magical small town. The house is convenient to the ski slopes, we stayed during the winter and my sons enjoyed skiing at Nub’s Nob, a 15 minute drive. It is also very close to Petoskey where there are many outstanding restaurants and good shopping. The House was exactly as pictured, brand new and professionally decorated. We enjoyed playing the provided board games. The master bathroom is beautiful! Very spa like. This rental was great value for money. The Host was very attentive and we plan to rent this property again in the future.
