Welcome to A Wave From it All - Part of The Bay Filey Holiday Village (see below for more information). Parking space right outside makes this ideal for families.

Decorated throughout by the new owners in late 2023 and featuring new flooring and other improvements this is a great family holiday venue.

Enter into the hallway with access to the downstairs cloak / WC. Walk through into the large open plan lounge. dining room and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 king-size bedroom with Juliette Balcony and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower,

Off the lounge area are bifold doors opening onto a private furnished patio, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Spotless and well thought out

We had a lovely stay, the house was spotless. Everything you needed and great outdoor seating. Furniture a little worn, Beds comfy Would have liked a little washing up liquid and perhaps a few dishwasher tablets, just to get you started. As most places do put some out, but not a deal breaker. Would recommend for families as nice space at the back to let children play

Property was very welcoming and delightful. A home from home feeling and in a very sunny position with parking at the front door. A very convenient location for future visits.

Lovely house in great position

We really enjoyed our stay, lovely house, and comfortable beds and sofas. Fab shower. Great seating outside and had the sun all day, the umberella has seen better days but managed to use. Location of the house we thought was great and parking infront of house. Thank you Anchor Bay for another fab holiday with you.

A lovely break A Wave From It All

Outside of school holidays, so very quiet and peaceful. Friendly people to talk to, though and someone told me how to access the cliff top walk to Hunmanby Gap which was a great walk to the beach cafe for breakfast, even when the tide was up. Lovely clean, comfortable, bright and cheerful house.

Great mini-break

It was really relaxing to stay here. It is a short walk to all the amenities and 15 minutes from the beach. Large communal green at the back plus parking outside. Good support too.

Great place to stay, immaculately clean, has all that you need for an enjoyable stay. Just one thing leave the outside light on in winter for check in difficult to see key box numbers in the dark!

Excellent property everything you needed very good location only drawback was the tv 2 upstairs didn't work at all and the one in the lounge didn't always work

A lovely stay at The Bay

We really enjoyed our stay in A Wave From It All. The house was ideal for our holiday and a great location for exploring the area and close walk down to the fabulous Filey beach. The house was well equipped for families, particularly for our baby with a high chair, travel cot, stair gates and bed rails. We would recommend staying and hope to return.

Couldnt ask for more

Really felt in professional hands from beginning to end. Very well organised process. Good to know that there is a competent person on the end of a mobile who picks up and is super helpful with the odd question. The property was better than we had expected. We worked out the Tassimo machine in the end. Would certainly recommend the property to anyone

Mini break at the seaside

Our family had a lovely stay at “A Wave from it all”. We found the holiday home to be well equipped, clean and comfortable with a good shower and a large outdoor space shared with the other holiday makers in surrounding properties. We were grateful for a few thoughtful extras - use of the washing machine and clothes horse, a football and pop up net for our son, a little step to facilitate our toddler using the toilet. Little things that made it even better! Location is excellent - we have a young baby so accessed the beach in Filey centrally and at Hunmanby from the car parks but there is access from the village itself. The weather was great so we spent all our time on the beach and didn’t make use of the other facilities at the village except the playground but they seemed good. My only small bit of feedback would be that there were a lot of emails and messages repeating the same information which I felt could have been communicated in one. Thank you for a lovely stay

Highly recommend; ideal for young families

We recently had a lovely stay with our toddler grandaughter. Great, clear communications from the owners. The cottage was clean and very well equiped with everything you could need. Even had children's cutlery, plates, high chair and stair gate. Good size living area and spacious bedrooms with plenty room for the travel cot. Grassed area out the back bi fold doors for the little one to safely run around on. Easy walk to the leisure facilities, pub, shop etc, and short walk to the beach path. Yes the path is a bit steep, but manageable with a baby buggy. A couple of suggestions would be an addition of a footstool for extra comfort (being picky here); upgrade the frying pan to a non stick one. The living room cushion covers need washing/ changing as they were looking a bit grubby. Non of this affected our stay, and would happily return if we get chance.
