The Villa do Cisne is a large holiday house designed by its owner, a renown Portuguese architect. Conceived to welcome the family’s friends, the walls display his collection of drawings and paintings, making it a kind of art gallery.



It is set on a large plot and its garden, spacious, mature and dotted with flowers, has a privileged view of the Golf course.

The porch, with its barbecue and pizza oven, is sheltered and invites to dinner parties, whatever the time of year.



On hot days, the swimming pool is a delight for everyone and the row of sun loungers, spread out in the sun, invites you to laze around.

For those who prefer, there is the shade of the wide flap that surrounds the whole house and covers little corners decorated with armchairs and stools where you feel like leafing through a book or taking a "power nap".

Das Haus ist riesig und sehr gut geeignet für große Gruppen. Allerdings riecht es im gesamten Haus sehr klamm. Der Esstisch im Innenbereich könnte größer sein. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Nice and cozy with good location but old and not renovated long time

Clean, except for the pool. The large, shaded terrace, with plenty of plants and space, captures the Portuguese atmosphere. The bedrooms are cozy and have large wardrobes. A very nice beach is quite close (5 minutes by Uber), as are shops and restaurants. The building is old and hasn't been renovated in a long time. This villa's glory days are long gone, and it's clearly under-invested. The basement entertainment area and the living room with sofas are particularly neglected. Wi-Fi is available on the ground floor, but doesn't reach the first floor. The number of dishes is a bit limited. There's no air conditioning, but it wasn't mentioned in the description either – something to be aware of.

great place in the middle of a gated community with luxurious villas. the house itself is great with an amazing garden. the only downside is that it smells a little old/wet inside and lots of things would need maintenance (doors don’t close, fittings fall off etc.) but for our big group it was the perfect place since we did not spend much time inside. would book again 👍 01/06/25

Absolutely perfect

Absolutely perfect. I can’t imagine why people would leave bad reviews. This place was beyond our expectations. The one thing I would say, you have to take out the trash to a designated area, which is quite far from the house. We were lucky enough to have a car, but if you have to walk, it’s a mini hike. 05/05/25

It’s an amazing house with loads of character and a 10 min drive / uber to incredible beaches and restaurants… but it’s definitely a bit tired. 9 of us stayed for a 40th and there’s plenty of space indoors and out. The garden, outdoor kitchen and pool are really nice and we loved the art, sculptures and plants. Some of the tired things: most of the beds are hard old spring beds, they’re uncomfortable and the bed frames squeak with every move. Many of the door handles don’t work. Musty/ damp smell in the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. Bathrooms are old with tiny showers. Dirty (and noisy) fish tank with 1 poor fish in it. Overall we had a great stay, but looking forward to a good night sleep in our own beds. 10/09/24

The perfect Villa for our girls trip

The perfect Villa for our girls trip. A Gorgeous, very large villa which slept eight of us very comfortably! The surrounding villas are equally as beautiful and we felt very safe here. The pool area and garden is stunning and so private. The villa had everything we needed and more and everybody thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. 31/05/24 Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed a handy man would be coming out to fix one of the toilets in one of the en-suite bedrooms, the bathrooms where the only downfall to this villa unfortunately. The showers I used were very small and did not drain quickly so you were stood in a pool of water whilst showering. The only other downfall was the number of sun loungers, for a villa that sleeps up to 16, six sun loungers is no where near enough. Taxi's/Ubers were very easy to get however be prepared for a 40-50 minute journey into the city with traffic. We did think the bulk bins would be closer to the villa, but you have to walk a good 20 mins each way to find them and dispose of your rubbish which isn't ideal when you don't have a car. But all that aside, we loved our stay here!

Perfect spot for a getaway

Perfect spot for a getaway. Stayed with 16 friends and we couldn't have been more delighted upon arrival. The living area and garden were much larger than we had anticipated from the photos and there was ample room for us sun-starved Brits to frolic. The pool was a decent size and perfect for dipping into when things got a bit toasty. Very peaceful neighberhood with plenty of top-tier homes around for us to debate the value of during our leisurely cab journeys in and out of the swanky golf resort. One of our group actually took advantage of the surroundings and teed off. Despite delivering a sub-par performance by his own standards, he had nothing but glowing reviews about the course. Getting around was straightforward, but it's cabs everywhere. An Aldi was on hand just outside the resort—maybe a 5-minute cab ride—and if you're willing to wait a minute or two longer, the beach is your reward. The beds were hard but manageable, with six double rooms (two single beds in each), and all four upstairs ones having balconies (I think). The other four beds are in the games room downstairs. That space wasn't the most comfortable and won't work for those wanting privacy, but was fine for a large group over a weekend. Catering for ourselves was easy. An outdoor BBQ, oven, and ample kitchen allowed us to rustle up some great meals, which were duly devoured in the large outdoor dining area. Plenty of beach bars and restaurants about ten/fifteen minutes away. Loads and loads of fun. 04/06/24 The main tap in the kitchen scolded a few of us because it instantly fires a jet of boiling water. Could be dangerous! Downstairs room was very damp with people saying the blankets felt moist. Was absoloutly hilarious but we had no idea the sprinklers were coming on at around 9pm and it caused carnage. Something to probably warn people about. The waste disposal situation could have been tricky if we didn't have a car, but I guess there's not much you can do about it as there's no rubbish collection. Again, it's probably worth mentioning to people beforehand.

Peaceful pretty location, easy under 10 minute taxi to the beach with great bars and restaurants and 35 minute taxi from Lisbon so very easy to explore. Would 100% recommend. Sep. 2023

Excellent service from Allure Villas, responses to questions were often answered directly and to the question of whether I could pass on a shopping list to the Villa manager was answered directly positively. Great service!! The villa manager/Tatiana had prepared the bad guys and as asked, the beer was already cold! Great! Great house, pool is smaller than expected but a great bath to cool down. The villa is a bit out of the direction of Lisbon center, but is just to do with cars/taxis (40 min drive). Also the beach you do not walk to ff, but with cars taxis fine to do. The house is somewhat dated, bathrooms can use a refresh. We were there with 14 men, I just fit the shower in, but turningwashing mm feet could not be because it was very small. Furthermore, really a top house, great to do and enough wonderful places to chill, in the sun,in the shade! June 5, 2023

Large house in a good location

The property was large and in a good location, close to the beach and only 20mins from Lisbon city centre. The villa was a little tired, some of the doors didn’t lock and the kitchen could have been better equipped. The agent was able to fix the lock on the front door and supply things like tea towels and a corkscrew when requested. Overall an enjoyable stay in a large and well located villa.

Stort og fint hus med nokre feil.

Inngangsdør hadde dårlig/slitt lås som var vanskelig å låse. Denne burde skiftes ut omgående. Balkong-dører fra stua virka ikkje/ var defekte og kunne ikkje brukast. På bilde for annonsen såg det ut til å være et stort og godt utstyrt kjøkken, men det viste seg at over halvparten av dører og skap var avlåst. Panner og liknande var svært slitt. Vanningsanlegg av planter og plen startet tidlig på kveld. Burde være programmert til å vanne om natta. Stort sett fornøgd med huset, men hadde forventa høgare standard. Spesielt på det tekniske anlegget.

An enjoyable stay - but,,,,,,,

The upstairs bedrooms were lovely apart from 1 broken window, which has hopefully now been replaced. The main lounge area and kitchen were also lovely. The ground floor bedrooms were tiny and only suitable for older children. Young children could not use then as they would be too far away from their parents. The beds in the games room were really only suitable for groups who would normally use a hostel. The "pool table" is actually a billiards table with no pockets. There are 2 sets of stairs going down to the pool room, 1 of which we had to partition off, as it was dangerous for smaller children. The outside area was great with a good lawned area. The pool is only quite small but was perfect for the children. Just be warned that it is not heated. Overall, if we had been a smaller group and just used the upstairs bedrooms I would have given an extra star. In my opinion it is more suitable for 8 people rather than a larger family group.

Aroeira is surrounded by a stretch of 30 km of the best beaches in Portugal, starting from the lively beaches near the centre of the village Costa da Caparica, to the almost deserted beaches of the south zone, ideal for water or sand sports.
About 2 km from the resort, you have beach bars and small restaurants specialized in grilled fish, some of them with wonderful terraces to enjoy the sunset.
About 5 km from the resort there is a wide range of beach bars that by nightfall turn into nightclubs or live music bars.
