Avocet is one of our luxury 5* Eco-barns, featuring exposed and original wooden roof trusses combined with a stylish modern interior. The spacious living area is flooded with natural daylight and glazed doors lead onto a private terrace perfect for alfresco dining. This terrace is fenced and gated, giving an added level of privacy for families. This patio leads out onto a large gated paddock with access to the play area .

The property has solid travertine tiled floors throughout with underfloor heating, the cottage is cosy in winter and cool in the summer. There is a luxury bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The main bedroom has a king-sized bed with luxury ensuite and TV. The second double bedroom has a zip & link bed giving additional flexibility on beds (for older children or friends - just let us know in advance) and the third bedroom is a cosy twin-bedded room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod-cons needed on a family self-catering holiday with granite worktops, a fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine and an espresso machine for the discerning coffee drinker.

There is free Wi-Fi and 43"LG Smart TV with Amazon Prime Video and Netflix so you can watch all your favourite shows.

OUTSIDE
All cottages have fantastic views to the east, offering magnificent sunsets over the 170 acres of sweeping farmland and gardens belonging to Home Farm. It also has a private fenced terrace where you can enjoy the sunshine and have BBQs in the summer.
In the lower carpark we can provide a Pay as you go EV charging point.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Avocet is part of our luxury Eco-barns conversion alongside Garden House & Coot cottage. The Eco-barns have sustainable eco-credentials by maximising alternative energy sources. Eco-friendly under-floor heating features throughout. Hot water and space heating are supplemented by solar, wind power and a ground source heat pump. The buildings are highly insulated keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer, and at the same time cutting down on carbon emissions.

There is an electric car charging point in the lower car park.
