Mom, dining table for 18! Dream vacation for the family and the grand kids. Sleeps 28. Steps to the beach, 10-12 bedrooms, 7 full plus 2 half baths, 6000 sq ft. IDEAL HOME FOR SMALL WEDDINGS OR WEDDING REHEARSAL PARTIES. Surf City is a family town and you can walk to everything you will need, has parking for 8-10 cars, park your car for the week and not need to use again. FIRST FLOOR: garage, ELEVATOR, grand kids bunk room with 8 bunks, guest queen bedroom/bath, exercise room with sauna, glass game room overlooking the backyard with second kitchen/bar, ping-pong table, foosball, large washer/dryer room. SECOND FLOOR: 4 private king suites with bath and closets. 1 suite has a pull out sofa in the extra room, 1 suite has a couch, air mattress and play pen area and 2 suites have 2 single beds. Half bath in hall and common outside deck area. THIRD FLOOR: large designer kitchen with large island and dining area for 18, plus outside eating area on deck, large living room plus sun room with a full bar area and fireplace. Master suite with bath, walk-in closet and private deck area. Additional private bedroom next to the master suite. Half bath on floor. Large rooftop deck overlooking the bay and the ocean with sitting area. Sheets and towels are provided like a hotel, the beds will be made and towels laid out for you and we wash the sheets when you leave and you will manage the towels. I have 2 handymen on staff that live locally to help you in anyway. The pool and spa are open and HEATED from April through November. Friday to Friday rental, check in at 3pm and enjoy happy hour and you don't have to deal with Saturday traffic.

This property was amazing! It was the perfect house and location for our extended family gathering. The house was clean and the pool and hot tub were great. We really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, playing ping pong and walking the very short distance to the beach! We are definitely going back!

Wonderful in every way!

This property supplied all of our needs and then some! It was comfortable, nicely situated near the beach, and close to restaurants and everything we needed. We loved the number of beds available! Perfect for vacation or retreat!

Our vacation was absolutely amazing. We have a large family that has been visiting LBI for 53 years. This house met all of our criteria and more. The pool is fabulous for days that the ocean isn’t available.Everything was clean and well stocked.Jim is a wonderful host with a great team. We loved the design of the home and all the amenities included.We were able to all gather together for meals and game night inside and out with all the seating necessary for a large family group. Unicorn on LBI

With such a large family this is the only house that really fits us comfortably with plenty of bedrooms and in suite bathrooms. Jim is extremely responsive as a host. Highly recommend for large groups but difficult to get a reservation as repeat guests return every year.

Family Weekend!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and once again it did not disappoint. The accommadations were perfect for a family get to together in honor of our 90 year old grandmother. There is ample space to gather for games and conversation. I would recommend this proprty to anyone and will defintely be back! Thank you Jim for having us!

Beach Family Christmas Celebration!!!!

A weekend to remember!

With all the 5 star reviews, our expectations were very high when we booked this property. We had a team building retreat for our staff and the house exceeded our high expectations! The house is beautifully designed for a large group. The pictures do not do it justice. If you have a large group looking for a cozy but spacious home that is steps away from the beach, don’t hesitate and book it!

Great house & location plus responsive owner

We were celebrating Mom's milestone birthday with 10 adults and 3 children under the age of 8. Jim (the owner) was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us but also give us enough space not to be on top of one another. The photos don't do this home justice.

Husband’s 50th birthday weekend

The property is gorgeous, enough room for 8 families to have their own space, bedroom and bathroom, but yet also interact with the family. The proximity to the beach is great and the roof top sitting area is awesome for hanging out. The pictures do not do this rental justice. We rented in March so we couldn’t take advantage of the pool or hot tub. Would love to come back!

The very best LBI has to offer

The house was amazing. The host was amazing. This house has everything. We celebrated a 60th birthday on May 11th. The pool and hot tub were warmed perfectly and added an extra layer to the family celebration. We had an issue with the bbq grill which was rectified instaneously. Jim wants to ensure all renters are completely satisfied which we were. this house gets a 10 star rating.

50th Birthday Celebration Weekend

Just spent a fabulous weekend with friends and family celebrating a 50th birthday at this beautiful home. I agree with other reviews in that the pictures don't know do it justice. The property provided more than enough space for the 14 adult guest to gather together for food, fun and games or have some private moments if needed! Jim was very helpful and pleasant to work with and he answered all our questions promptly. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing

Every year we get together with 20 of our closest friends and family for a reunion. Due to a scheduling snafu with a different owner, we found ourselves with no place to stay. Jim, the owner of this house, saved the day on short notice, and was very accommodating. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. Thank you Jim!

Family Reunion

We just finished up a weekend stay at this amazing house. There was so much room which allowed everyone to have privacy. The top floor living area was wide open which allowed multiple people to have conversations. The icing on the cake was the outdoor pool and hot tub. We were pleasantly surprised it was opened and heated this early in the season. Even with the cool air we were in it all the time. Jim was super responsive and we could reach him by phone or text. Will definitely book again!

Great space lacking essentials.

When I stay at a VRBO I expect some essentials to be there. This house did not provide toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, or laundry detergent. They also require you to wash all the towels after your stay which feels excessive as you’re trying to get out on time. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect with a view of the ocean from the third floor. Unfortunately the lack of essentials interfered with our stay.

Thanks for your review Jared. I apologize that we do not provide the toiletries and other items. We explain that in the Welcome Letter we sent you before you came. We were very responsive with any issues that you had and fixed them immediately. If you were in a bind for any of these items, I wish I had known and could have brought them over personally. The goal of myself and my staff, who all live within 5 minutes of the house, is to accommodate tenants in any way we possibly can. We make all the beds and leave all the towels out for you, to provide a hotel like experience. We wash all the sheets when the tenants leave and previously, we tried to wash all the towels but there are over 50 in the house, and we just could not get them done in time. We decided that tenants would manage their own towels which was explained in the Welcome Letter. We always make exceptions and help the tenants in any way we can if they are running short on time. I wish I had known that you did not have time, and I would have gladly had them done. I am always available by cell phone at any time to help with any issues that you or any tenants have, and I do hope you come stay again. It’s A Gem-Perfect Escape For A Large Group

You have to see this place in person to appreciate its beauty as the pictures does no justice. The home was well kept and fully equipped with everything we needed and more including an elevator. The space far exceeded our expectations. It accommodated 28 women with room to spare. None of the women had a complaint— need I say more. The open concept 3rd floor was great meeting spot for the large group. The positive feedback goes on and on. The owner, Jim was most accommodating. We had a wonderful weekend and could not ask for anything more in this luxurious home. Jim, thanks for giving us the opportunity.

Family Reunion Ages 87 to 17

If you can imagine the most perfect location with the most amazing amenities, you might still not imagine how amazing this house is. Beautiful inside and out with large suites for all our family members was just the beginning of our amazing reunion! The elevator made it simple to get my 82 year old mother and her 87 year old sister around the house. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for our extended family and a table huge enough to accommodate everyone at the same time. The weather did not dampen our time spent in the heated pool and the extra large hot tub. There was even a very competitive game of Horse played in the pool as Ophelia dumped heavy rain down. The short easy walk to the beach was good for the sisters to be able to see the ocean up close. Jim, was easy to reach by phone and text and is a super host! We hated to leave the oasis, but can't wait to return!! The pictures don't do it justice as the house was super clean, spacious with amazing views all around.

Great for huge groups

We had a great winter stay at this house for a family reunion. We had 12 total (4 separate family groups) staying and everyone had their own private space to go to, which was nice. The amenities during the winter are less (e.g., pool, hot tub closed, didn't utilize the beach chairs, towels, beach much), but it was nice as LBI wasn't crowded. (However, a lot of restaurants, stores, etc. were definitely closed). It truly is a hop, skip and jump away from the beautiful shore, and easily walkable (even for my elderly parents with a walker). It was nice as we were able to check in a bit earlier as it was a slow season time period. The huge kitchen table was a bonus for us to all be able to sit together. The kitchen supplies were decent (not top notch, but work!). Small items that you need for cooking would have been nice to have as a staple there (we forgot vegetable oil, cooking spray, salt and pepper, coffee filters). For the cost of the house per day, it would have been nice not to have to lug toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, facial tissue, dish washing pods, plastic bags for small garbage bins, etc. (Making you more likely to take everything with you vs. leaving it for the next person). There was some confusion on check out (We didn't know we had to wash our bath towels prior to leaving to avoid a $150 fee) - from our understanding, it was the beach towels from the basement, which we didn't use. Regardless, beautiful huge house, free cable and wifi, and enjoyed our stay!

Sheets and towels are provided like a hotel, the beds will be made and towels laid out for you and we wash the sheets when you leave. I have 2 handymen on staff that live locally to help you in anyway. The pool and spa are open and heated from April through November. Friday to Friday rental, check in at 3pm and enjoy happy hour and you don't have to deal with Saturday traffic.
