Quinta da Paz is a traditional family home for your exclusive use. It is located right in front of the golf course, a 5-minute walk from the village center. It offers great privacy, as it is located outside of built-up areas. The distance to the towns of Machico and Santa Cruz is about 9 km.
Santo Antonio da Serra is known for its extraordinarily beautiful scenery, popular for its romantic natural setting—thanks to the lush vegetation—which attracts many visitors.
The spectacular views of the mountains and its prestigious location make Santo da Serra a fantastic destination favored by many professional golfers and the home of the Madeira Island Open, which was first held there in January 1993 (PGA European Tour). It is now held every year in March.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room and dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The house has oil heaters in all rooms and also features a nice fireplace. However, during the colder months (January, February, and March), the temperature in the living and dining room does not exceed 16 degrees.
Guest access
After leaving the airport, heading toward Funchal, look for a sign that says “Santa Cruz – Santo da Serra Golf Course.” Please follow the road from Santa Cruz to Santo da Serra. You’ll see the golf course gate on your right, and shortly after that, on your left, you’ll come to a roundabout. Quinta da Paz is located across from the golf course, just before that roundabout on the left.
Other things to note
The house is located in the mountains. On cold days, the temperature inside the house will not exceed 12 degrees
