Located north of Jacksonville on the untainted southern coastline of Amelia Island, this stunning three-level oceanfront condo is tucked within the Amelia Island Plantation. The gated AIP community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP.

With the fresh photos taken February 2025, travelers can see the gorgeous location of 1106 Beach Walker and its updated spaces. The property features an updated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable furnishings, and panoramic views from the main living area and bedrooms.

The multi-level layout is ideal for families or friends vacationing together. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all on one floor. One level up is the second and third bedrooms and their full bathrooms. On the top level is the main bedroom and attached full bath. This main suite boasts an incredible ocean view that'll immediately brighten your day upon waking!

This condo is a convenient stroll away from the award-winning beaches of Amelia Island, the beautiful and spacious Beach Walker pool, and gorgeous walking and biking trails. Take your time on the scenic drive north on A1A to the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District (about 20 minutes) to enjoy the many great shops and eclectic dining options.

Golf is also available at multiple great courses on the island. Nearby, bike and golf cart rentals are offered - simply inquire for additional information.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guidebook is provided with thorough property information and our local area guide sharing favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

Priced at a great rate, this condo truly is the perfect setting for a beach getaway and it has been thoughtfully equipped and well-stocked to meet guests' every need!

*Please be advised this private property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to club members and their guests. The condo was clean and had a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I didn't realize was just how many stairs there were and the elevators didn't function properly from the parking the whole time.

As for the elevator, we are sorry that it experienced a few service malfunctions during your visit. Yes, there are stairs required in the condo as well to traverse between the various levels. We try to capture these small staircases in our listing photos but please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have any questions.

Amazing

All three kids asked, “Can’t we just stay?!” Our first time in Amelia Island and we can’t wait to come back! Beach Walker condo had all we needed. Beautiful place.

Great location and relaxing atmosphere

Our unit was perfectly located, near both the beach and pool access, with views of both. Management was responsive and helpful. Our section of the beach was particularly quiet, which was great. (Very few shells, though, unfortunately)

Communication was great. Condo has an ocean view over the trees. Kitchen was adequately stocked with appliances/ cookware. Location is great for pool and beach. We will visit again!

Well Maintained

We enjoyed our visit to 1106 and Amelia Island, the property was clean, great location to the beach and shopping. Beds were comfortable and the room's nicely decorated. We had a wonderful stay and all was as advertised. My only suggestion would be to add blackout or dark curtains to each of the bedrooms. It was hard to sleep in and get young kids to take a nap in the afternoon.

Pleasant Stay

It was a quiet stay, 4 days in all, uneventful, but restful which is what we wanted. Instructions for condo were clear and precise and were always available in needed. I enjoyed interacting with the management company very much. the only issue was mattresses were not as comfortable as they should be and oven needed to be clean. Rest of home was very nice. I would use this management company again.

Construction mess made parking a nightmare and getting to beach a hassle. No pool.

We’ve stayed at Beach Walker before and enjoyed our stay last time. This time, the condo was so small (bathrooms and kitchen were tiny). No view as trees are too tall and pool was being renovated. This is our 7th visit to Amelia Island Plantation and accommodations were not up to par. Also, master bath shower drain was completely blocked (we tried to fix ourselves but it’s been that way a long time and needs plumber). We should have called maintenance but didn’t want to spend time waiting on the repair person so we just showered in downstairs bath. Master sink was also pretty backed up as well. Beds were very comfortable and washer and dryer worked well. Kitchen was too small to really cook in but it was equipped with necessities.

While we are glad you thought the beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer worked well, we are disappointed to see that you experienced these other issues during your stay. Our team here at Destination Amelia takes pride in presenting only the best properties, which is why the majority of our guests are so happy with their rentals. While the pool renovation was ongoing in the Beach Walker complex it was tough for us to control where the construction workers parked or where the materials were laid. However, we are so very happy to report that since early September the pool renovation has been completed and construction has ceased. There is no longer any "mess" to contend with and all is back to being peaceful and serene - and now with the gorgeous, brand-new, spacious pool! Regarding the plumbing maintenance issue, we do wish you had reported it to us as we would have quickly sent out a licensed plumber to fix that drain for you. We hope in the future you will give our property another chance and feel confident that our team is here to help should any issues arise!

Great experience, slightly underwhelmed

Couldn't beat the location. Right on the beach, pool area was great, and we took advantage of the charcoal grills on the premises. The unit itself was very clean with great views. It definitely made our stay enjoyable, but.... nothing more. Maybe we were spoiled on our first VRBO and thought all the others would match that. They were cooking utensils, but nothing in terms of spices, cooking oil, not even coffee! The "upstairs" (which was 7 steps away) had issues with the air conditioning. I suspect they knew about this ahead of time because every room at a circulating fan in their closet. We would set the AC at 70 and it would say 78 inside. We lowered it to 65, and it got the AC down to 70. Still, it was warm and tough to sleep. Last note, beds were very very uncomfortable. Kid's didn't mind it, but they don't know any better. The bed in the master was pitched in the middle, so my wife and I found ourselves every night on polar opposites of each side. It was also not the most comfy bed in the world either. That, couple with the hot nights, made us.... look forward to the morning. Plus side, we got to enjoy every sunrise on the balcony!

AWESOME VIEWS

Our Amelia Island adventure did not start out as well as it ended. We had reserved another unit with another manager. The place was disgusting (bugs, water stains, mildew). I was in the area for work and had brought along my family. In a major pinch, Ryan and the Destination Amelia team came through for me with flying colors. I was able to do everything via email from the jobsite and my wife and kids were able to move into this oceanfront gem. We were 4 adults and 2 teenage children. There was plenty of room in this unit. Furnishings were comfortable. The views were amazing. The sunrise from the 3rd level master bedroom is epic. Everyone loved the pool and the beach. The restaurants and activities within the Plantation were great. We would definitely look stay in this unit again if available. If not, I'm confident that Destination Amelia could find us another just as good. Great time had by all. Dad is officially a hero. Thanks!!

The picture is misleading. I would describe the unit as "compact"...I would rent it again. It was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The location was great, kids could walk to pool and ocean.....especially enjoyed balcony facing ocean, could sit there for hours watching the ocean and listening to the waves. Had a problem with heat on main level but it was responded to quickly and efficiently. Very nice unit , good for 6 people, close to grocery store....Would certainly consider it should we return to Amelia Island

Nice location

Amelia Island is beautiful. Condo is in a convenient location with the Omni within walking distance and shopping not too far away. Destination Amelia was very responsive and accommodating to all of our needs.

Ahh the sound of the ocean!

The sught and sounds of the ocean from your balcony is heavenly. The beach, pool nearby. The condo was clean, well stocked and comfortable. No problems or issues.

Great condo, with awesome views and amenities!

My wife, daughter and I stayed here in June 2017. The condo was very well kept and met all our needs for a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. The walk to the beach was fine and the pool area was very nice. We look forward to coming back again to Amelia Island and this condo will definitely be somewhere we'd like to stay at again. The property management was great, responsive and easy to work with!
