The place was great!!Jim, the owner, was very helpful with all of my questions leading up to our stay. We used the place as a getaway for our annual Ladies Weekend. There were 8 ladies ranging from 30s to 80s.Everyone was comfortable, had their own beds and enjoyed the large gathering areas. The view of the bay was amazing.

The location was fabulous! Truly beautiful with the view of the Chesapeake. The kitchen was really wonderfully stocked. The only negative was there was a significant fruit fly problem inside the house. The problem was rectified on the third day when it was realized they were coming from one of the garbage cans!

Communication with the host was great. From the time we arrived until we left, we thoroughly enjoyed this home. There were eight ladies in our group and we had a wonderful few days away. The house was spotless and even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen is one of the most well appointed kitchens Iā€™ve seen. I was the chef in the group and I had everything I needed. We were impressed with the crab eating supplies such as mallets, paper and crackers. The views are breathtaking even in November. We all agreed we would return.

Kent Island Perfection!

Gorgeous home, immaculate, spectacular views, comfortable, very well equipped, with all the amenities (a commercial-grade coffee maker!) It was a perfect setting for family and friends to sit around the cozy fire pit or out on the dock & enjoy watching the sun set over the Chesapeake Bay. We canā€™t wait to return!!

Gorgeous and immaculate home

We had a wonderful stay at this waterfront house. The view and proximity to the water are outstanding, the yard is beautifully maintained, and the home is well-appointed and sparkling clean. The owner was super responsive to my questions about the property and area. We could not have asked for a more perfect house and location for a family get-together. I highly, highly recommend this lovely house!

Great location for a getaway

This is our second time here and enjoyed it more than the first time, since it was still going through some renovations. It did rain most of the weekend but we tried to fish on the pier as much as we could. House was very well stocked and had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for all to use. It's not too far away from home, but just far enough for a getaway. It's also close to grocery stores and restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. I highly recommend this place to all !!

Nice house and location, quite hot when we arrived

Excellent location, nice house, clean, good communication with hosts. Only gripe is that the house was 87 degrees F when we arrived with the AC turned off and it took 6 hours to cool down. This made things tricky with our infant who needed to nap. Otherwise good stay.

No Hot Tub Despite advertising so / great views

Great views and location Property listing advertised that there was a hot tub on the property- however when we arrived there was no hot tub available. Owners were not willing to provide a small refund to compensate for this false advertisement

Wedding weekend

We were looking for a house for a wedding on Kent Island and we struggled to find a house with beds for adult couples. A lot of house slept a lot but most had single beds. This house was perfect! And had 7 queen beds in 4 bedrooms. The house was spotless. The layout great with a large kitchen, enclosed sunroom, huge deck and on the water. Jim was a great host. I also loved that they stocked toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, and paper towels to name a few. Too many VRBOs we have stayed at skimp on this leaving us making store trips right when we get there. We will definitely be staying there again!!

Fantastic Location to Celebrate with family

We stayed at Jimmy's home on the Bay while attending our daughter's wedding at the nearby venue. We had some family gatherings there- letting the partiers enjoy the nearby bars but the huge kitchen and open areas, especially the patio and back yard with the dock were just perfect for enjoying locally catered food and a few toasts! The place was so well equipped, beyond what I have seen at other VRBOs, the beds comfortable, good quality linen and a very effective climate control system. We used both heat and AC because of the weather! The bathrooms are new and very nice despite a couple of minor issues. There is an extra fridge which was helpful as well. The rooms are spacious and minimally furnished but suitcase racks and garment hangers did the job. It gave us room to set up the baby stuff we had brought. The area is great for places to eat and drink and grocery shop. All in all it was a great place to enjoy with family!

The house is in a quiet location overlooking the Chesapeake Bay and provided everything we needed for wonderful evenings at the fire pit and relaxation on the sunny deck in the morning. Beautiful house with every comfort provided.

The house and property was more beautiful than described and very clean and well stocked. It's clearly been taken care of. The area is beautiful and close to shopping centers and activities. Our group loved the trip and would love to visit again!

I really like to have renters to enjoy their stay by providing them, hotel quality Lien and Sheets, clean towels, spacious refrigerator, lots kitchen counter space , and the house will be Spec And Shine before your arrival, so as smell, by having 3 professional house maid cleaned the house, always, before guest arrive.
