There should absolutely have been enough towels for your group from the start, and I also apologise that the additional towels were left outside and got wet — that’s certainly not the standard we aim to provide. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again. We truly appreciate your understanding and are delighted that, overall, you had a great stay. I’m pleased to hear you enjoyed the location, the views across the North Sea when unobstructed, and found Saltburn convenient for public transport and walking along the beach. I’m very sorry that access caused difficulty — the large steps at the front and the high threshold at the back door are clearly an issue and I apologise for the trip hazard and stress this caused; your suggestion of a grab handle has been noted and is being investigated. I also apologise for the confusion over the washing machine and the inconvenience of locating the garage key; I understand how frustrating it was to have to make multiple calls. Your comments about the garage door being dirty, the lack of a washing basket, and only two pegs for three lengths of line are noted and are being investigated. I’m sorry that several items of crockery were chipped, that some mugs were stained, and that the promised toiletries and towel change during a two-week stay did not materialise — you should have received the amenities as advertised and we apologise for falling short.
