Above the sea and behind words, Villa Sublime, cut in a cliff face, enjoys stunning views over the Ocean.

Is close enough to feel the salt, and the soundtrack of the vacation is the waves pounding the rocks.

It is located near Azenhas do Mar, a Mediterranean-looking village with little houses tumbling down to the Atlantic, creating a picturesque scenery that inspired painters and graced postcards.



The outdoor spaces comprises a pristine swimming pool and outdoor living area arranged around a fire pit.



Guests will be delighted with the thoughtful interiors, comfortable bedrooms complete with bright bedding, wooden floors and decorative notes that reflect character and charm.

Breathtaking Views

Loved the views and the beautiful accommodations, perfect location and central access to the town for a quick market shop was just what we needed. 03/12/25 Because we were there during a windy time, the fireplace that wasn't in working order was very loud in the house because of the wind. It would be great to remove the vent funnel to reduce the wind noise in the future for guests.

Elsket stedet, perfekt for vår avslapningstur. Huset bærer litt preg av at det er fuktig klima - det lukter litt mugg og er generelt mye fukt. Utsikten og uteområdet veier opp for dette. Koselig område rundt med fine tur muligheter. Huset er godt utstyrt og vår villa manager var utrolig hjelpsom og løsningsorientert. Ingenting var et problem. Takk for oss🥰 14/09/25

Die Aussicht von der Villa aus auf das Meer ist wunderschön. Das geht kaum besser. Auf der Rückseite des Hauses verläuft eine Straße in das Dorf dies stört allerdings nicht zu sehr. Wer einen großen Pool sucht, ist hier falsch. Die Größe entspricht eher einer größeren Badewanne. Preis ist für uns am oberen Ende. 13/06/25

Huset låg helt fantastiskt fint! Det var lätt att hitta, härlig restaurang och bar nere vid stranden, gångavstånd till mindre affär. Bra planlösning på huset för ett stort sällskap, härliga umgängesytor både ute och inne. Det funkade bra att ta sig fram med bil via bolt och uber. Stranden Praia grande låg en bra bit bort men är väl värt besök för surfning, sol, bad, restauranger och kaféer. Värden rekommenderade att vi hyrde bil men det funkade bra och var billigt med taxi. Sintra är också väl värt ett besök. Huset och det lokala området har något som heter microklimat vilket gjorde att vädret var disigt på morgon och kväll och solen hade svårt att slå igenom för oss där i maj. Graderna skiljer sig upp emot 10 grader från vad som visas i appar, poolen var mindre än vad som uppfattades på bilderna men huset och helgens vistelse var utöver det vanliga och väl värt ett besök!! 02/06/25

Die Unterkunft hat einen traumhaften Ausblick und entspricht den angegebenen Bildern. Strände und vor allem der Praia das Maçãs auf den man einen tollen Blick hat, sind gut - zum Teil fußläufig - zu erreichen. Auch Supermärkte und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin sowie Check-In und Abreise verliefen problemlos. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit! 01/11/24

We loved the house and location

We loved the house and location. We spent every night out on the patio, swimming, and later sitting by the fire. We took day trips to Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Cabo da Roca and Fatima. All trips were within 1.5 hours. We had a chef in for 2 nights and we enjoyed the Portuguese wine and food. Getting there from Lisbon was very easy and the beaches along the way were beautiful. It was a very enjoyable vacation!

I can't say enough about our stay and the professionalism and kindness shown. The Villa was absolutely perfect and in the most quaint community with stunning views at every turn. The sun sets in the front yard so prepare to be awestruck! A bit of paradise awaits ... enjoy!

Far too expensive for what it is.

Nice sea view laocated in a nice small village but... High season kicked in so the renting price ! 5.5k the week. We had too much problems that couldn't be solved during our stay. It's not worth the price when the main showers does not work properly, 2 sun beds for 7 people, could not use BBQ because it was too old/broken and then dangerous to use, some air con units not working properly.... I won't come back.

Lovely house in a beautiful location. House really well stocked and fitted out for a long stay. View was absolutely unbeatable. Definitely needed a car, only a couple of very little restaurants in walking distance. If good weather, this would be a perfect place to relax and enjoy!

This place was great for what we needed awesome location just done the road from a great beach location hidden by cliffs Hiking trails just outside of the villa but be careful as there are cliffs everywhere Host/manager Elisabete was quick to respond to any query we had and showed us around when we got there I would recommend this place to any one who likes the outdoors and the views. 14/10/24

Tolle Villa mit schönen Blick, wenn kein Nebel ist. Es waren immer angenehme 10Grad kühler als in Lissabon. Die Gegend hatte was von Mittelamerika mit den vielen Bergen und der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit. Wie haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Aufteilung ist gut durchdacht. 24/08/24

A lovely place to stay for a few weeks in a very picturesque village. Pool was ideal for what we needed. Very close to Sintra, so good for sightseeing - but be sure to book a ticket before you go. Also easier to access Sintra by tram from the next village over rather than drive in peak season. 10/08/24

Truly Sublime

Truly Sublime. We all loved our stay at the Villa Sublime. Though the weather was a little bit of everything we loved walking along the (very steep) bluffs and visiting the village. When the sun did come out we drove to the beaches for swimming in the very cold ocean. I do wish the pool was a hot tub for a post ocean warm up, but it was fine as a cool plunge. I'd be cautious with younger children near the bluff but for our crew with teenagers it was perfect! 13/07/24

The villa is situated 11.2 km from Sintra, and 20 km from the cosmopolitan Cascais, with its marina, entertainment, shopping, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, delightful terraces by the sea, not to mention the buzz of a very active nightlife. Estoril, that has the biggest casino in Europe, is only 28 km away. Lisbon, the capital with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, monuments, restaurants and Fado, is only 40 min. away. Guincho, with its surrounding natural park, is highly recommended for beach & sports holidays. But along the coast the choice of other beaches is endless. Guincho is famous for water sports activities, white sandy family beaches, all within a 20 min drive.

For golfers, there are 6 golf courses, 30 minutes away:

1) Quinta da Marinha
Set amongst beautiful pine trees and stretching down to Guincho beach, it has some of the most majestic sceneries in Portugal. Its hole number 13, a Par 4 descending to the sea, is a picture postcard of Portuguese golf.
2) Oitavos
It's the 1st Golf Course in Europe and the 2nd in the World to become a Certified Signature Sanctuary - Gold.
3) Penha Longa
Enjoys championship characteristics, an excellent level of maintenance and beautiful panoramic views over the Sintra mountain range.
4) Estoril
One of the oldest and best-known golf courses in Portugal. Many champions - including Max Faulkner and Seve Ballesteros - have walked the fairways of this course.
5) Quinta da Beloura
Fine views over the Sintra mountain range and a course surrounded by trees provide a very pleasurable game of golf.
6) Belas
Designed by Rocky Roquemore. Its eighteen holes extend over 6,128 metres for a Par 72.
