Thank you for your review. I was deeply distressed to read the comments about the kitchen. We pride ourselves on the hygiene of the cottages and have never ever received criticism in over 23 years of business on the cleanliness of things. I can only put this down to an oversight on my behalf and apologise. I agree with the remark about the bedroom window, I hadn't appreciated how overgrown the rose bush has become so thank you for pointing that out. I am sorry you felt hemmed in - the property is old and in a unique and special location so planning permission only allowed us certain things. I hope you enjoyed what the gorgeous Loch Lomond area has to offer - we are extremely fortunate to live in this beautiful area of Scotland. Your paintings were lovely, I'm delighted you were able to soak up the scenery and manage some swimming too. I wish you a very happy rest of the summer.
