Probably the best b&b we’ve stayed in , and we’ve stayed in quite a lot .

From arriving to leaving it was fantastic , all the staff and owners couldn’t do enough for you , plenty of time to speak to you , just nice people who deserve to get on in this world .

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helaina

We loved the sea view room, with two comfy window chairs, where we could relax and enjoy a cup of tea in the day or glass of wine in the late evening. The hotel clearly mirrors the love and attention to detail the owners have given to make this a lovely hotel to stay. The whole ambience is welcoming and relaxing. Breakfast is top notch and we liked the idea of pre-booking a time and choice the night before. Handy for both both beaches, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We have stayed in the apartments next door and the Hotel, they are both great very clean and welcoming, the breakfast is spot on. I would recommend either to everyone. We will be staying again.

Another comfortable stay.

The Helaina is a lovely place to stay. The breakfasts are delicious, the hotel is very clean and the staff are attentive. This is our 3rd stay as a group and we all really like it . The rooms are a bit small but we aren’t in them for so long. Mainly somewhere to sleep that’s clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast. We also used the honesty bar a couple of nights which we enjoyed. Looking forward to our next annual visit to Scarborough..

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with great views, lovely breakfast and very welcoming on arrival definitely deserves the 5 star rating, best B&B in Scarborough.

Great hotel with great service

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcome and looked after. The breakfast was cooked to order and excellent quality. The hotel is well maintained very clean and was in a great location with a sea view. We would recommend the hotel !!
