Unser Aufenthalt war super. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und wir hatten wirklich alles was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Ein echter Bonus waren die vorhandenen Strandtücher. In der Küche gab es alles was wir brauchten um zu kochen, sowie einen grossen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach. Der Pool ist besonders klasse.

Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Haus verlebt. Die Küchenausstattung ist in Ordnung (Pfannen und Töpfe könnten erneuert werden). Teller und Gläser waren ausreichend vorhanden. Pluspunkt sind der Geschirrspüler und die Waschmaschine sowie der hauseigene Stellplatz fürs Auto. Der Schnitt des Hauses mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern ist super. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, so dass unser mittelgroßer Hund nicht abhauen konnte. Das beste am Haus sind die Terrasse mit Meerblick und der große Pool. Da wir uns hauptsächlich dort aufgehalten haben, kann man den Rest auch mal einfach vergessen. Zweimal in der Woche kam Maria zum Putzen und Handtücher wechseln. Handtücher gab es auch sehr viele, da etliche Feriengäste ihre Strandhandtücher dort lassen. Die 3 Sterne bei der Sauberkeit habe ich wegen des zum Teil mangelhaften Zustands der Schränke und Wäscheständer gegeben und auch, weil es Stellen im Haus gab (wie zum Beispiel die Lamellen der Schranktüren), die einfach total verstaubt waren. Julian war immer erreichbar und wir konnten uns bei Problemen an seinen Kontakt vor Ort wenden. Alles in allem ist es ein wirklich schönes Haus und wir würden wieder kommen.

Great family villa

The villa was great to stay in , plenty of room and everything you could need . Our only complaint would be parking the car on the drive as it is next to a busy s bend . The pool did loose some tiles and the tiles had not been grouted but didnt stop us enjoying it . The beds where comfy which was a lovely surprise as some in Portugal are very hard . Toilet door needs a lock as blows open when you are not expecting it . Sadly we will not be returing due to the parking problem which is a shame .

Lovely Summer holidays 2024

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The House is well equipped. The kitchen covers for all the Seven of us. Bedrohst and bathrooms are well (no backpains from the mattrasses) and especially the window Protection to prevent us from mosquitos worked very well. The Ocean view from the terrace is gorgeous and the pool very relaxing. Only the car park is a bit tricky.

Uma boa Casa de férias para umas Férias em Família

A comunicação sempre correu bem com o proprietário. A casa está bem localizada. É uma casa suficientemente grande para 6 adultos, 1 criança e um bebé. Passámos o tempo todo no exterior, as refeições foram todas feitas no alpendre. A piscina é óptima.

As a family, we all really enjoyed our stay . The Villa is situated only a short stroll from a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants. Everything in the Villa seemed in the good working order. The only issue we had was that there was noise from a property across the road , where the residents were playing loud music from the Afro Caribbean music festival. This was obviously outwith Julian’s control. We would book the Villa again if we re visit the area .

Adequate

On arrival to the villa the front looked lovely as per picture on advert. When we went inside our first impression was that the furniture was very tired and dated. The sofa in the lounge was very uncomfortable. The bed in the double room at the front was very hard. The en-suite bathroom was quite grubby looking and the grouting round the bath needs redoing. The main bathroom shower needs some attention as this was very grubby. The roof terrace gave lovely views but only had 1 dirty old lounger that you couldn’t sit on. The pool furniture needs replacing as sun loungers and chairs were broken. I did contact owner to make him aware and sent him some pictures. He said he will be getting some replacements. We all enjoyed the pool. We think the advert for the villa needs updating. The villa also needs a good overall clean indoor and outdoors. You need a car.

Really Bad Villa dont book this

whe had a bad stay. The description on the website don't match. The badroom was bad its not renovated. No Bubble bad. Broken Chairs The bed matras are dirty and smel bad. Everything is old en broken. Child was falling on the hard floor an had a wound because of the old furniture. Talk to the owner and he dont care about it. Dont book this!! whe sta for 2 weeks it was horrible. Sent 12 mails en 20 calls to vrbo but no reaction.

Do not reserve this location!

Ne pas réserver! Nous étions au courant que la maison devait être rafraîchie, mais pas au point de perdre des poignées ou de ne pas d'avoir où s’assoir par peur de tomber ! La ville a manqué d’eau, nous avons tenté d’interpeller un des trois numéros disponible sans succès! Extrêmement déçu de l’expérience avec l’hôte et la villa!

Just what we needed

The property was exactly as listed. It is in a quiet area with numerous beaches within a short drive. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had no problem cooking our supper meals, making good use of the bbq. The kids enjoyed netflex at night, which was a welcome surprise. Other reviews complained about the drive way and yes our car is low so we just parked down a side street no big deal as the area is extremely safe. We travel to Portugal every two years and will definitely try to book this home again on our return in 2025.

Nice home, misleading description, poorly managed.

The home has a lot of potential, and we enjoyed our stay. The pool and back porch are very enjoyable. And it does have a distant view of the ocean. It also had a nice mattress in the main bedroom, and had a lot of fun toys, games, and things there for the family to use. I typically avoid making reviews that are negative, but I do need to share that the home was advertised as being recently updated. This was clearly not true. It might have been updated 10 years ago. It also had a broken oven with the door falling off, a cooktop that didn’t work, and the refrigerator had also broken and was replaced with a small refrigerator that didn’t have a freezer. We were celebrating my mothers 76 birthday, so this made it difficult to do things like ice cream or cook meals for the family. We reached out to the owner/manager about the concerns, and our requests were essentially ignored, and when we did finally get a response, we were told that a credit would be issued. But he could not give specifics, and had to wait until after he was paid by VRBO first. We patiently waited, and then we’re told no credit would be issued. I feel we would have been able to give a good review if the manager had simply been honest about the property not actually updated, and made some kind of attempt to help us with the cook top. But it was actually insulting when we were promised a credit for our troubles and then no credit was issued. I am confident that I am not a perfect house guest. I had children and dogs. But we didn’t break anything, and we picked up the house, washed the dishes, had the towels and linens in piles to make it easier for their cleaner. The only thing we think we might have missed was some pet waste in the dog run area. But, there was already pet waste there when we arrived,

10/10 communication with owner. Lovely Villa, clean and tidy. Exceedingly quiet location. 100% need a car but we hoofed it around the area and found some jems of cafe's and restaurants.

Super accueil. Maison agréable avec une belle vue sur la mer et une piscine très sympa !

Belle maison ! Le seul défaut maison en bord de route dans un virage et assez difficile pour le stationnement ou pour s’y garer. la porte coulissante hyper dangereuse si vous avez un chien ou petit enfants ils peuvent se faufiler aisément ! Prévoir un bon grillage pour plus de sécurité !!! Sinon très belle maison. Il y’a tout. Et le personnel surtout la dame du ménage est une perle ! Et le pisciniste très dévoué .

Beautiful villa

Absolutely adored our stay at Villa Rohan, came with everything we could have needed to have fun inside and outside such as an Xbox and pool floaties! Caroviero is an expensive place so it was lovely to be able to stay in and cook ourselves food. If a washing machine guide could be added to the information packet it would be much appreciated as we were too scared to break the machine to try and wash our towels!

The Villa is in a Village called Sesmarias. which is in between the fishing villages of Carvoero and Ferragudo.
Its in quiet and peacfull yet not too far from the the beaches or local towns, resataurants, bars and shops. Its very close to the golf courses Gramacho and Pinta and not far from Potamao or the slide and Splash water park

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The big benefit is the pool area and porch.
We usually eat outside on a large table on the porch. Sometimes by the BBq area. We also love to go up onto the large roof porch in the evenings as you can see the sea.
The large interior living room and dinning area is open plan and is air conditioned.. The villa has off steet private drive for two cars.
