Calm, peaceful stay.

Well equipped, comfortable yurt that was positioned by itself thereby making it feel extra quiet, private and relaxing. Easy access to local area was also a benefit.

Tranquil, relaxing and fun stay.

We enjoyed the peacefulness, being surrounded by the fruit trees and the quirky yurt accommodation. Norman and Anne were excellent hosts and we will recommend to others.

Lovely yurt in a great location. Owners very friendly and accommodating.

Had a lovely 2 night break. The Yurt was lovely, very clean, tidy and good facilities - the Apple juice and Chutney were lovely!! Ann was particularly friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Wonderfully peaceful and comfortable

The whole setup was excellent; situated in a stunning location that wasn't overlooked, the yurt had kitchen amenities that were perfect for a weekend away. The compost loo and shower, plus washing-up facilities, made staying in the yurt really comfortable.

Tranquil, serene and really relaxing

It was our first experience of "glamping" but ticked lots of boxes. The yurt was well equipped and perfectly comfortable. Breakfast on the decking in the middle of an orchard was particularly memorable.

Warm, cosy & a great location

On arrival I was met with a lovely warm welcome by the owners. Myself and 2 dogs loved the surrounding area, with all the apple trees in a peaceful location. The yurt itself is nice and cosy with everything that you need provided. The log burner was really nice, especially when the rain came.

Annual highlight!

This was our third stay in Cai Yurt and it was wonderful! It’s a highlight of our year to relax amongst the trees whilst the children roam free. Highly recommend.

Relaxing family time, in the most beautiful location.

Yurt was lovely, well equipped and clean. The view when you openes the door in the morning was beautiful. We lived our korning walks through the orchards to see the pigs. We loved the pause on our busy family life in this beautiful place. Hoping to stay again.

An idyllic & relaxing weekend

Our third stay at Dragon Orchard. We spent the bank holiday weekend in Cai Yurt which had everything we needed. Perfect for families who want the camping experience but with a bit of a level-up. The yurt is comfortable and well equipped. The outside shower starts the day off perfectly. We were really lucky this year with hot weather but the yurt is cosy even when it rains.

Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing.

Yurt was cosy and perfect for our break. We were fortunate enough to have, wonderful clear nights and got to see, shooting stars.The yurt has everything needed to cook and felt comfortable. We enjoyed a nice walk around the Orchard and read the poems at each number stop. The outdoor shower was a nice experience, although there are also enclosed showers. There is a little barn shop and the produce very nice. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away and relax.

A wonderful, peaceful space to relax and unwind - everything you need, and nothing you don't!

The Ash Yurt was an ideal place to spend a weekend unwinding in nature, and even inside the yurt it feels like you're still part of the countryside, which is a sensation you don't get in a 'proper' house. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed and knew where I was going before leaving me to my own devices. I really loved my stay there, and would definitely book to stay there again if I'm in the area in the future

A magical gathering spot for celebration and ceremony and for nestling in amongst the orchard

We had a brilliant group stay for a memorial community festival. It became part of our celebration, a place that helped us. We felt very safe and natural, we felt very welcome. Ann and Norman were really supportive from the initial contact and right through to our time there, helping us out whenever needed. There's a maze of wonderful hidden camping spots and the yurts and studio are super luxurious. We feel really grateful to them. We didn't find the Dragon, but found a dragon's golden apple.

The perfect getaway

Myself, my husband and our 1 year old stayed in Ash yurt and it was such a perfect weekend. The yurt has everything you’ll need and the kitchen is really well equipped. The yurt is also really spacious! The outdoor shower was hot too. We weren’t too hot or too cold at night and it was so nice and peaceful. The orchard is lovely to stroll around and go and meet the pigs! Norman and Ann are such kind and welcoming hosts. I’d definitely recommend it and we already can’t wait to go back

Peaceful comfortable retreat

My young children lived staying in the yurt, some flexible bed options and with the fire on very toasty. It was very quiet and peaceful in the orchard and well equipped with pans, wood, kettle etc. Outside shower was warm and quite refreshing in the rain. It was a bit hard to keep it clean during the rainy weather without a porch but there was cleaning bits for us to use.

Simply wonderful.

We were excited about a family weekend away in a yurt in an orchard and Dragon Retreat didn't disappoint. We went in early October which meant the trees were laden with all sorts of types of apples and, despite cold nights, we were very cosy in the yurt. Crackling fires, hot showers under the trees, the occasional thud of another apple falling from a tree and a lovely local area to explore. We hope to come again, perhaps for apple blossom season. Thank you to Anne and Norman, the lovely hosts.
