Fabulous chalet

We had a great stay in this lovely chalet. Rooms are big, bathrooms are great and the whole chalet is warm and cozy. Owner very easy to contact. Driveway up and down to the chalet is a little challenging when Icey

Very well equipped, spacious, family friendly chalet. Had Nespresso coffee maker, fondue and raclette sets. Easy check in/out. Great position to get into Morzine and up to the slopes via Navette. Would recommend.

A beautiful chalet in a lovely location

This beautiful chalet had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Morzine, it is not far from the center of Morzine and there is a choice of 2 buses to the ski lifts. The driveway is rather steep and it can be challenging to get the car up to the chalet in icy conditions, although there is the use of a garage on the roadside.

Beautiful chalet with great amenities. So nice to find accommodation in France with a kettle and lots of crockery, pots and pans. The drive is steep but that wasn't a problem as it wasn't icy when we stayed. Close to 3 bus stops, the easiest to get to is out the garden and follow the street round to the stop on the main road.

Très agréable chalet , spacieux et très bien équipé, mais la pente d'accès peut poser problème en cas de gel/neige. La navette directe P ne circule pas entre 12 et 14Hr, rendant un peu pénible les transits vers les remontées mécaniques et le centre ville.

Nous avons séjourné à 4 couples d’âge mûr dans ce chalet bien équipé. Il manque juste des crochets dans les salles de bain et dans les chambres. Julie nous a donné de bons conseils pour nos ballades.

Spacious and rustic chalet located on the edge of morzine. Well equipped for a large group visit.

Great property size. Linens and furniture rather careworn. Kitchen well equipped but crockery well used. Relaxing environment for large group. Plenty of hot water !

Perfect!

Perfectly described in a nice area, mountain view, 10-minutes walk to the city, enough parking space and space for sports gear. We loved the possibility to open all windows to the backyard for cooking and eating. We had a really good time!

WOW!

The chalet was perfect. More than big enough to accommodate the 9 of us. We cooked in every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only a 15 minute walk into town (not in ski boots) but the free bus stop is only at the bottom of the drive. Julie met us at the property and was really helpful. Direct contact with the owners before we went was really useful too as they were able to arrange a discount on our lift passes and recommended a ski hire shop that offered them a discount. In all, we had an excellent week. Thank you. Andrew

We arrived just before the official entry time of 2pm and were met by Julie, who looks after the property on behalf of the owners M. and Mme. Journel. Julie was very friendly and informative. The pictures on the website gave us high expectations of the property and we were not disappointed. The chalet is beautiful inside and was the perfect base for our party of nine. Julie showed us around the property which is on three levels and has all the equipment you will need for a comfortable stay. Julie can be contacted throughout the stay if there are any problems. M. and Mme. Journel also popped in to enquire how we were enjoying our stay. The chalet is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Morzine and there is a regular bus to the ski slopes (Super Morzine and Pleney) which is about 3-4 minute walk from the chalet. The chalet is up a steep hill, but that is only to be expected in a mountainous region. The bedrooms are all beautiful with their own private bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable. The living and dining area is large and perfect for a medium-sized party such as ours to dine and socialise together. Overall a great stay. Would not hesitate to return.

Chalet L'Aube Claire

An excellent chalet with everything we needed to accommodate our three generation family party of 5 adults and four teenage children. The chalet was clean and well maintained. It is spacious, light and airy. We were made to feel very welcome by the lady who greeted us with a complimentary bottle of wine. The location is very good with only a 150m walk to the bus stop, although, the 30m steep drive up to the chalet is somewhat taxing in ski boots.

Loved our stay with my family celebrating my 70th birthday, chalet perfect for us all, well equipped kitchen and lovely dining table and relaxing lounge, all bedrooms and bathrooms very spacious, good location a short walk to a bus taking you into Morzine very near access to slops. Would love to return next year, thanks to the owners for making my birthday a special week

Wohlfühl-Chalet

Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit 4 Kindern und 5 Erwachsenen sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir haben die kommunikative Theke in der Küche sehr intensiv genutzt. Die Küche bietet an Ausstattung alles was man zum Kochen nach einem Skitag braucht. Ein besonderes Plus war für uns, dass jedes Zimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügt. Der Skibus hält in unmittelbarer Nähe, so dass wir - außer zum Einkaufen - das Auto nicht bewegen mussten. Morzine ist ein sehr schöner Ort und ein idealer Einstieg ins Skigebiet Port du Soleil.
