Nestled in the pines and mere minutes from the renowned Lake Sam Rayburn, our Mediterranean style homes are beautifully maintained. Each one is fully furnished and waiting for you to make it your home away from home. This home is spacious 1800 Sq. Ft. and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Hosting a bigger group? More than one home can be reserved to accommodate your needs. Whether you’re seeking a location near to a public ramp for your next fishing tournament, a weekend getaway in the country, play golf near by or a place to hold your long overdue family reunion – we can offer you the option to make your stay a carefree and memorable one.

Adventure awaits you in this popular recreational area. Lake Sam Rayburn and the surrounding area abound with bird-watching, fishing, and hunting opportunities. The beautiful lake is ideal for a variety of water activities. We are only 3 miles from the public boat launch and the Umphrey Family Pavilion on Hwy 255. Villa 2 has two driveways plus another driveway with a carport.
If golf is your game, Rayburn Country golf course is 1 mile away and is open to the public.

In need of food and supplies? Piney Point Plaza on 3881 Rr 255 W is only minutes away, and you will find the "The Stump” restaurant, Chapala, and Hamburger Depot. The Dam Liquor Store, a Beauty Salon, and a gas station. Down the street, you will find a Dollar General Store and a couple of tackle stores. Only 20 minutes from Jasper you can find Walmart, Lowes plus a variety of restaurants and varied stores. There are a few churches on FM1007. If you are looking for a more adventurous day trip, Lufkin and Toledo Bend are each 50 miles away and you can be in Beaumont in an hour and a half.

Have a dog you would like to bring along? We love our furry friends (dogs only, no cats). We have plastic bags available for you to help us maintain the yard. There is plenty of room for a kennel and bed if you have one, we simply ask that you do not let the dog on the bed or the furniture. The pet fee is $20.00

Why settle for an expensive and impersonal hotel room when you can get a better VALUE per person with all the comforts of home. This property has the most beautifully crafted doors and spacious bedrooms along with a stunning kitchen. Master bedroom has a jetted tub to relax in after a long fishing day.

Hello Mr. Jackson, Thank you very much for your feedback. I appreciate you letting us know about your experience. Regarding the hot water, we checked all three bathrooms and found the water heaters are working well. It turns out the temperature valve had been set to low, which caused the delay in getting hot water. Fortunately, each house is equipped with two water heaters, so we were able to quickly resolve the issue. As for the insect you mentioned, we treat each house every two months to keep them pest-free. In our nine years of hosting, this has been a very rare occurrence, as you may have seen from our reviews. Still, I apologize for any inconvenience this caused. I’m glad we were able to offer you a complimentary night to make up for the hot water issue. Thank you again for staying with us, and I hope to welcome you back in the future!

The host is unbelievably welcoming, she went out of her way to change our rental, in fact upgrade it all because of one toilet that wasn’t working. We are a bunch of guys that truly cared but she went above and beyond to make sure we got this best stay possible! If yall are anglers in the area looking for a great stay this is the place!!

My father was a professional fisherman in the US, and in his free time, he built homes. Each of our properties has something special, like Villa 1, which has a 55-foot-long covered garage and plenty of space to park more cars and boats in the back of the house. We travelled to Texas for the Bassmaster on Sam Rayburn. For anyone travelling to the lake for ANY reason, I highly recommend this location! It was about 4 minutes to Mary Umphrey Pavillion, huge parking area and boat launching. There were a few initial questions about the property and the property manager was prompt and responsive. Very nice and easy to work with. The style of the home and decor was festive and happy, giving Texas vacation vibes. Everyone had their own space and own bathroom which was a HUGE plus. The outside area was lovely to sit and lounge in the evening and there is tons of parking space for multiple vehicles or boats, even a covered area with lighting. We will be back next year! There is a great tackle store right around the corner the boys loved and Jasper is a short drive to walmart or grocery.

We booked this for my son’s SETX bass fishing tournament. My husband, son, and our boat captain each had their own room and bathroom which was great coming off the water. The host checked in on us throughout our stay and made everything so smooth and easy. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even shared pictures of her dad’s fishing championships back in the day which my son thought was really cool. We will be back for the next tournament for sure.

Great property and location!

We had a great time here. The place was nice, clean, and spacious. The AC got the house frigid which we all enjoyed after a day on the lake. It’s centrally located to stores and public boat ramps. We would stay here again anytime.

The house was extremely cold when we arrived, would have been nice if someone would have turned the heat up before we got there.The bathroom faucet for the shower for cold water was broken. Had to use plyers to turn on and off.Other than that the stay was good.

Hello Mrs Baker, Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comment about the shower, and I will make sure it's fixed right away. We usually turn the heat on when the temperature is expected to be below 45 degrees. Still, I will ask my property manager to turn on the units when the temperature is 50 degrees or lower. In my welcome letter, I make sure that my guests understand that I am Available 24/7 to fix anything right away or answer any questions. Enjoyed our family time!

Love the fact that Mariela has four properties close together. My family and I rented two of her villas and enjoyed hanging out at night in the yard and barbecuing. Her properties are nice and clean and Mariela is a great host!

Top pick for Sam Rayburn stay

This place was just what was needed for rest/ relaxation after a long day on the water. Having 3 rooms and bathrooms gave everyone the privacy/ comfort they needed to unwind. Utilized the grill for a top chef steak dinner to fill the bellies of these teen anglers. Close proximity to the boat launch at Umphrey on 255. This will be our go to for next season!

I rented to villa to stay for a guided fishing trip in the area. The process from start to finish was easy. Mariela is the best hostess. She stayed in communication with me from the very beginning and also gave us an upgrade to another villa, as well as an extended check out. This was so appreciated as we had one person that was unable to go out on the lake. The location was very convenient to our meeting point for our fishing trip. Thank you Mariela! We hope to make it back again!

I want to say the same thing about you with great communication, left the house clean and I am glad we were able to give you a late check out. Absolutely Fabulous....

Pictures absolutely do not do this place justice... just absolutely AMAZING and comfortable!!!! Once there, pay attention to detail on the buildings... Fabulous... very clean... will definitely be back!

Hello George and Alicia, It was a pleasure meeting you and I appreciate your review. I will definitely be working to update the pictures. Now that you need to come back to pick up your tubing, please look at the other 2 properties that we have next to the one that you stayed at. They all have 3BR and 3.5 BA but with covered garage. I also appreciate that you guys left the house very clean but remember, you have paid for cleaning fees! LOL. Take care Mariela

Tournament Stay

Owner has great communication. Very personable. Clean house. Nice size. Very smooth process. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Hello Amy, Thank you so much for your review and I appreciated it. It is very important to get reviews so future guests learn more about the place and the owner/manager. Fishermen love our properties because they are a great value. The properties have 6-7 beds, 3 BR each with a private full bathroom plus the convenience of having a kitchen, living room, patio/deck and enjoy long conversations (about fishing or else!). We also have hosed families for family reunions or attend weddings or any other event. Family and friends like to stay together and close to Sam Rayburn Club. Having the public ramp and Unprhrey Pavilion just 5 minutes away it's convenient. Good luck to your son in this wonderful sport and glad to see that he is starting in High School and continue fishing to college and "life". Hope to host you again. Mariela

Being in the real estate business, my father started building these types of properties in 2008. With their unique construction with concrete walls, cathedral ceilings throughout the house, and colorful colors throughout the house, you will have all the amenities you want during your stay. Villa 2, has 2 driveways plus an extra carport for another boat or truck.. Plenty of outlets around the property to charge your batteries. Large backyard for your family to play., BBQ grill and a fire pit.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, each twin bed has a memory foam mattress. In the living room. There is a TV with Dish service in the living room and one more in the master bedroom.
Verizon works the best in this area. If you need WIFI, I have a jetpack that you can request ahead of time.
If the house is available on your arrival day, you can check in as early as 11 AM also, if it's not rented on the day of check out, late check-out can be discussed.
