Take in breathtaking views across the estuary to Instow, and relax in this calm oasis. With nature on your doorstep, there are no end of coastal paths, local culinary delights and local arts to explore. Not to mention an active boatyard and fishing dock a stones throw from the cottage.

The cottage is newly renovated with luxury finishes throughout. Generous thick towels and 400 thread-count pure cotton bedding. The bathroom features responsibly sourced marble in the walk-in double rain-shower. And the paint is a melange of Farrow & Ball and Little Greene, providing luminescence throughout.

Appledore is adorable, set of the waterfront of an undulating peninsula. The house sits high on a look-out, up some 15 steps and is only a 6 minute walk to the Quay, at heart of the village. Benefitting from a charming vantage point, looking over the glistening water and across to Instow village. This view is especially pretty at night, with the sparkling waterfront lamps reflecting off the water.

PLEASE NOTE: The Appledore Maritime Innovation Centre is currently being built across the road. As it’s a multi-phase construction project, there may occasionally be some daytime noise, although we aren’t given schedules or specific timings in advance. It’s generally not disruptive, but I want to mention it upfront so you’re fully informed before arrival.
