A stunning, historic detached cottage. Many of our guests are water babies and bring their own canoe, paddle board, kayak or book their first stand-up paddle-boarding lesson with local instructors. Some like to hire a boat and the majority visit local cosy country pubs. Enjoy the extensive private garden with direct views and access to the river.

Families and groups have enjoyed the local farms and nearby horse-riding school, followed up by a pub lunch – a perfect day for everyone!

Our guests have enjoyed reconnecting and dining at this spacious cottage. The large reception room has a wood burner, there is a fully equipped kitchen, conservatory all with solid oak flooring, enjoy the terrace, extensive garden and unique direct access to the river through the charming private gate in the garden – step through to enjoy water activities, there is a canoe portage, jetty platforms and the Medway path.

Bring your bike and ride or take a leisurely riverside walk into the town centre for shops, bars and cafes. Alternatively, sail down the river and stop off where you will. This location is just a short journey to local beaches and attractions.
