Villa Prokimea is a brand new villa with private pool in Makrades, Corfu. The 3-bedroom villa can sleep a total of 6 people, and offers a beautiful outdoor space with pool. It’s located on the western part of the island near the sea and the lively seaside resort towns of Palaiokastritsa and Agios Giorgios. The modern style interiors boast large windows with panoramic views, letting light and beauty stream into the villa. Outside, the 3-level villa offers a garden, lovely pool, and pool deck furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas for enjoying sunny Corfu days. In the nearby town of Makrades there are tavernas and food shops. Within a radius of about 10 km there are beautiful beaches in Agios Giorgios, Afioni (Porto Timoni), Paleokastritsa and Liapades. There is also the Angelokastro Castle (XIII secolo A.D.) for history lovers.
At guests’ disposal: private garden; private pool (10 x 4 meters; minimum depth: 0,8 meters; maximum depth: 1,6 meters); panoramic views; gas barbecue; air conditioning; washer/dryer; Wifi internet; parking.

Amazing villa in a beautiful location near the village of Makrades. The villa is finished to an excellent standard and the owners were very helpful. It is within walkong distance of two villages and there are some excellent cafes/taverna's within easy reach.

A fantastic property. Well located, just a short walk to two nearby villages with a couple of tavernas each. Excellent pool, spacious outdoor area and well-designed indoors, with three large bedrooms and a fantastic kitchen area.

Villa Prokimea is stunning, we loved the peace and tranquility it offers. The outside space is-well designed, with really great pool. The villa is located in Makrades a very small mountain village in the NW region of Corfu. The area surrounding the villa is beautiful, great for walking. Our host Yiannis welcomed us in the villa and was contactable throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed.

We couldn’t believe our luck when we found Villa Prokimea on the site, and it was available. We assumed the reality would not be quite as we hoped from the photos. But we were wrong the reality was even better. Without doubt one of the most special places we have stayed as far as design, situation and functionality is concerned.

Lovely villa

Prokimea is a brand new secluded villa with beautiful views over the mountains of Corfu, the surrounding sea and its islands. It is tastefully furnished and has a beautiful pool area. Our host was very attentive and whenever we had any issues, she tended to our needs right away. The rooms are comfortable and provide plenty of privacy. Since the house is quite remote, a car is necessary and being a good driver doesn’t hurt either, given the extremely windy roads. Highly recommended overall.

Beautiful spacious , well maintained villa. Pool area is great. Top floor bedroom access a little tricky for anybody older . This room also gets very warm in hot weather as a lot of glass and a/c could be better. Suggest a car is needed as relatively remote. Couple of good tavernas in walking distance but otherwise no local amenities.

We had a lovely 8-night stay at the Villa Prokimea. The property looks just as it does in the photos and we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the beautiful pool. What I wasn't expecting, however, was the climb up and down the mountain every time we left the property or returned home. Despite reading reviews about narrow winding roads, I was not prepared. Looking at a 2-D map, the beaches look sooo close! What I hadn't factored in was being 1,000 ft above sea level at such a steep drop. My husband was the only one brave enough to drive - if it hadn't been for him, I would never have left the villa. I lost count trying to track to the blind corners. There were restaurants we could walk to at night which was great as we wouldn't drive after dark, but my visions of spending sunsets on the beach or at restaurants in Afionas were never realized because of the drive. Our favorite restaurant was called Sunset and was a 10 minute walk into the village of Krini. We ate there twice - the food was delicious. All of these "complaints" are not a reflection of the property itself. We were happy to have such a beautiful place to return to at the end of the day! But I wish I had better understood the location.

A sensational villa completed in 2022 in an absolute quiet location. Large outdoor pool with elegant lounging areas. 2 spacious bedrooms with each en-suite bathroom on the ground floor - at the level of the pool. In addition, a utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities. On the upper floor a fantastic open, overfully equipped kitchen. integrated into an enormously large and all-round glazed living-dining area. Before it had a view of the pool, forest, the mountain village of Krini and the sea a huge terrace with a large dining table. In the DG another bedroom with en-suite bathroom and also huge terrace. Accessible via a somewhat hazardous but very layy metal spiral staircase. Air conditioning everywhere and opaque curtains. Theodora and her husband Ioannis took great care of us and responded to all interim requests quickly and competently. Makrades village About 5 minutes on foot, Theodora's brother runs an excellent tavern (Tomateli) - also quite new and therefore not listed in all guides. The house is located on approx. 300 m above sea level and can be reached via a mountain road. Accordingly, the way to the sea is either only motorized or a bit laborious in a descent of at least 30 minutes.

Wow. On arrival we just walked around with our mouthes agape - we couldnt believe how beautiful this villa was. It is perched above the Olive groves with the sea in the distance. Sunset is extraordinary and was required viewing every evening. Inside is very classy and stylish and there are all the things you need for your time there. We walked to the superb Tomateli restaurant in the village every night and back again. The castle is an easy walk form the property as is the Donkey Trail. Just fantastic. And special thanks to Theodora who was our host and very helpful with suggestions etc.

Die Villa Prokimea ist ein wunderbares Haus, das etwas außerhalb von Makrades mitten in der Natur liegt. Es gibt gute Tavernen, die problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe und ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne Villa, schön ruhig gelegen mit herrlichem Ausblick aus das Meer. Restaurants mit sehr leckerem Essen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der näheren Umgebung und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Um bis ans Meer zu kommen ist ein längerer Fußmarsch einzuplanen oder am besten ein Auto oder Roller ausleihen. Für Aktivurlauber sind Wanderungen und Klettertouren hier sehr gut möglich, man kann natürlich auch ganz entspannt am Pool liegen und die Sonne genießen...

Kommunikation mit Theodora war super! Das Haus liegt traumhaft mit Blick auf‘s Meer. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto und vertrauen Sie den Koordinaten, die Sie bekommen, um zum Haus zu gelangen. Das Haus ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Die Fotos entsprechen zu 100% der Realität. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la villa. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes avec plein de gentillesse et de petites attentions. La situation est parfaite, au calme et la route qui mène au village offre une vue époustouflante sur la mer et Paléokastritsa. La maison est superbe, avec de belles prestations et est très agréable. Elle est très bien équipée. Le cadre, la piscine et la vue sur mer sont paradisiaques. Nous recommandons vraiment cette location.
