Just a short walk from the beach lie the central areas of Bellaria and Igea Marina, entirely pedestrianized and made famous since the 1980s by modern urban renewal projects. From the “Cagnona” area on the northern edge—where “La Casa Rossa,” the home of writer Alfredo Panzini, stands—all the way to Parco Pavese in the south, you can follow a nearly uninterrupted pedestrian path winding through gardens, trees, modern shops, bars, and restaurants.
