Historic charm radiates from this 1856 Creole Cottage. Located on a gorgeous block in the Treme neighborhood, this walk-up apartment is just steps from the French Quarter. Walk 15 minutes to either Bourbon or Frenchmen and soak in the live music and bustling nightlife. Before you hit the town, rest up in our cozy living room or sip a cocktail in our bamboo-lined backyard. Welcome!

Sleeps 6, backyard available for shared use. Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. Lovely living room and kitchen with table. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels!

Shared rear brick courtyard shared with 2 other units in house. Street parking available. Cafe located 3 houses down with delicious breakfast, lunch, and espresso.

Treme is a colorful neighborhood nestled just north of the French Quarter. Many wonderful local eateries and coffee shops and just a short walk to all the action on Bourbon Street. You will love staying in one of New Orleans most beloved districts.

This was an ideal location for our week in Nola which was a combo of pleasure and work. The host was five stars incredible, and we loved our stay!! So so convenient to everything, and we appreciated the option for the pool, proximity to Tremé Coffeehouse, and walkable to the French Quarter! We will be back!!

We stayed on the top floor of this house. It was a large space with plenty of beds and two bathrooms, which was a huge benefit. The neighborhood was quiet and very calm. We were presently surprised by how safe we felt walking back to the house at night from the French Quarter. Cute little café literally steps from the house. Had a delicious breakfast there, twice. And a little convince store the next block over that had anything you might need in a pinch. Great location, walking distance from the French Quarter but far enough away to get out of the busyness and nightlife.

Perfect location for the price

The owner is one of the best i have ever dealt with, communicates very well. The location was perfect just about a 10 minute walk from bourbon street. The listing it self was nice, very spacious and comfortable. I would 100% refer to all of my friends or anyone traveling to the new orleans area.

Great stay in a vibrant neighborhood

We really enjoyed Tremé neighborhood and this historic home. It was just as presented in the listing, the communication was clear and timely, and they provide recommendations in the welcome book. There are two charming cafes very close by, and it's a very short walk to Louis Armstrong Park. The space in the bedrooms is tight because it's an old building. Given the long staircase, not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

Great house, sketchy neighborhood

I personally did not stay at the house. Sons and college friends did en route between states. They said the house, well the upstairs where they stayed, was unique and had a lot of character but they felt the neighborhood too sketchy to go out late when they arrived (10ish). Their car was NOT broken into NOR did they have a bad encounter but they didn't feel safe to walk to Bourbon Street. I only had correspondence with Host and he was excellent.

We had a great stay at this house! The home was cute, clean, and in a convenient location. One thing that pleasantly surprised us was the sleeping arrangements. The listing didn't fully convey how many beds there were—each of the three bedrooms had two beds, for a total of six beds, plus the couches pulled out into beds as well. It comfortably accommodated our group.We were also a little concerned about running out of hot water since there were five women staying for the weekend, but it was never an issue. The house has two showers, which made getting ready much easier since multiple people could shower at the same time.The location was another big plus. There was a really cute breakfast spot right on the corner with great coffee and food, and we loved being within walking distance of Bourbon Street, the French Market, and other popular attractions.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others visiting New Orleans!

Great little place in the Treme

Great little cottage in the Treme. Came with a group of 6 for a bachelor party and had a great time! Only one word of caution for tall folks out there (we had 3 guys over 6 feet tall): the common area has slanted ceilings that come down pretty low and you may need to duck or crouch.

Quintessential Treme neighborhood, convenient, clean and worth it!

Property has a nice outdoor area in the back. The owners are attentive and kind locals. We had a bunch of girls for my sisters bachelorette party and here was enough space for us all! I’d rent again if I needed a place that size.

We had 10 girls stay here on a weekend in April for a bachelorette party. There was plenty of room for everyone and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio and the big living room space. The coffee shop next door was also convenient and we felt like we could walk to Bourbon Street easily and safely. Our one suggestion for the owners is to add some mirrors in the place. There are two bathrooms with one small mirror in each of them. With 10 girls getting ready all at once, this was a little problematic! We had people using the reflection of themselves in the microwave or TV to put on makeup :)

Great place to crash

The house has multiple apartments in the building and this one is in the top of the house. Great place that fit our needs. We just needed a place for 9 people to crash at the end of the night and relax at times during the day. Had enough sleeping for 10 without having to share beds. Nothing fancy but for the price it was great! Even had a keurig with coffee for the mornings. Small bakery/coffee shop next door was nice. Short walk to Bourbon street and Frenchman street. Only critique was that the Wifi didn't really work throughout the apartment but we weren't there enough for it to matter. Owners were fantastic and responsive! Would definitely stay here again.

wonderful place to stay

my friends and I stayed at this beautiful house with tons of light and character. the host was very easy to work with, the neighborhood was great, the beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for our group. would definitely stay here again.
