SKI ACCESS:
This home provides easy access to the iconic Dave Murray ski trail and the 2010 Olympic downhill run, which leads to the Creekside Gondola. The Dave Murray ski-out trail is best for intermediate skiers and not ideal for beginners. You'll find the entrance to the ski-out between this home and Taluswood the Heights #1. At the end of the trail, you'll need to cross the road, then continue skiing down the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run to reach the Creekside Gondola.

Ski home via the Lower Dave Murray run. Just above the Green Olympic rings, take a right turn onto the Home Run trail. Follow this trail, skiing above the Fairmont Heritage Place, all the way to the Taluswood Lookout complex. From there, it's a short walk back to your unit. Ski in/out is usually accessible from late December until March, depending on weather.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
* No local busses service the Taluswood neighborhood; guests must use their own vehicles or taxi services.
* No air conditioning; we supply one fan per bedroom.
* Guests must be 35 years of age to make a reservation and must provide ID at check-in unless prior approval has been given.
* There will be a fine of up to $500 for any non-approved pets or evidence of pets found in the units

Prior to check-in, guests will be required to provide a credit card plus photo identification for a pre-authorization of $1000. The credit card may be charged up to $1000 after departure if the property is damaged, requires excessive cleaning, or if items are missing. The credit card provided must be in the name of the main guest.

The condo was beautiful and clean and located on a quiet street. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The hot tub was wonderful to have at the end of the day and we loved that it was private with a nice view. We weren't able to ski in/ski out, but that was due to the lack of snow being towards spring season and honestly the drive to Creekside gondola or Blackcomb was quick and easy with plenty of parking. We loved our stay and 100% would stay again. My only tiny recommendation is that providing a kitchen sponge would make it much easier to rinse dishes! But overall was truly wonderful.

summer week in whistler

Beautiful property, lives up to expectations from listing. Great layout, large bedrooms, beautiful open concept main living area with private hot tub and BBQ. Location a drive to the village but nice and quiet and very private. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautifully decorated condo in a great location

Our group of 5 enjoyed our stay so much and would love to visit again. The beds were incredibly comfortable and after a long day of skiing, the hot tub was priceless. When we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and hand written note, which was very thoughtful. Thank you for making our ski trip one to remember!

Perfect place for our girls get away

I take my daughters on a ski vacation each year to celebrate our birthdays. This year we decided to come to Whistler. The home was very comfortable and perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we could stay in and cook if we chose. Beds and linens were perfect. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great mountain escape

We just spent the better part of a lovely week at Whistler. The condo was just as advertised and immaculately clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The parking space in the town came in very handy as well (although a little hard to find! It’s in the Town Square parking garage.) Directions to the property were great, and check in was smooth. We would definitely consider this property/company again.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We had everything we needed. We cooked some, so it was very helpful that some spices were available. Very comfortable and clean. For intermediate skiers, getting to and from the slopes was kind of dicey without fresh snow.

I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding our recent stay. We chose this property and paid a premium rate for a ski-in/ski-out experience in Whistler, but the stay did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the unit was substandard. My wife washed the kitchen floor, there was no body wash in the master shower, and my son cleaned cobwebs from the light fixtures. Additionally, the external garage door opener was non-functional; we were informed this is a known issue the owner has declined to repair for years. Furthermore, the master bedroom television malfunctioned, it would go black every couple of minutes before turning itself back on, it required two days and two visits from teh maintenance team to replace the HDMI cables. Regarding the ski-in/ski-out access: navigating under a closed slope rope and skiing down an ungroomed rocky trail to a "ski at your own risk" catwalk does not align with how this property is marketed. Regardless of snow conditions, the access was last week was unskiable for members of our party who are intermediate skiers, and I ended up driving the group to and from the slopes every day. The most serious issue was a flood caused by a severely clogged shower drain, which resulted in water running into the bathroom and 6 feet into the master bedroom. Industrial equipment had to be brought in to dry everything.

Regarding the ski access, mountain conditions can vary depending on snowfall and weather, which can impact lower level mountain conditions. We understand this was frustrating for your group. Finally, we sincerely apologize for the disruption caused by the clogged drain and resulting water issue. While this was an unexpected maintenance problem, we appreciate your patience while our team worked to bring in professional equipment to address it. We value guest feedback and take concerns like these seriously as we continue working to improve the experience we provide.

Beautiful Winter Escape

We just left 5 day ski trip at the Taluswood property and it was really perfect. House is in very quiet neighborhood up into the creekside area of Whistler. Ski in/out very accessible and easy to get to the gondola in the morning. First time skiers probably would not be able to utilize this option. House is well maintained, clean, modern and very comfortable. Bedrooms were nice. Downstairs room on the left has some issue with the thermostat and does not regulate temperature well at all. The rest of the house is very nice. Jacuzzi was a necessity after skiing out on the balcony and we enjoyed it daily. Heated garage. Ski Butlers was over the top amazing and I can't give enough recommendation to use them. Would definitely return when skiing Whistler again!

Beautiful home on the Mountainside

This home was beautifully maintained and a perfect home away from home on our ski vacation. The location at Creekside was perfect for us in that it was on the mountain but away from the noise of the village, while still accessible to it. The house was well managed by harmony whistler- we showed up to a clean warm house, stocked with the basics we needed to get started. The house is perfect for a family in that there is private space for everyone, plenty of media in each room but with a large central area for family dinners or a family Movie night. The house comes with a parking spot in the village but the truth is that the village lots are also always open (and we were there the busiest week of the year) and also very affordable. The kitchen was still led with what you need for family dinners and the hot tub was clean and well sized for a family. We would completely return to this home. Moreover, we would definitely look forward to renting from Harmony Whistler again.

Nice place with a few misses

The property is beautifully furnished, really high end. Honestly, this may not be a great place for those with young children as there is a lot of expensive furniture and artwork to worry about! I would say it is the nicest ski townhome we have stayed at. Most people with a unit this nice do not rent it. We rented this unit specifically because it was in a quiet area of Creekside but had a parking spot in the center of Whistler Village. My wife is disabled and cannot ski so we wanted her to be able to explore the village and the parking spot was important to us. Well, it was useless. They should disclose that the spot cannot fit a car any wider than a Prius. We had an SUV (as many would I think headed to ski country) and there was no way to use the spot. Management had no alternative. I would give the actual unit 5 starts, management 4 stars. The first night we had no heat in the unit. They fixed it all except in one bedroom the next day and told us to use a space heater they provided. The space heater was broken. They brought another the next day and made no other effort to fix the heat in the bedroom the rest of the week. They also offered no apology for a week with no heat in the bedroom. Wifi password and instructions for trash were both incorrect in the book in the unit. Also, very important to note that the ski-in and ski-out access are not accessible early season. It barely opened for us, thankfully. We are solid skiers so it was fine, but for an access I would say this is difficult--very narrow and steep. Watch to see if Lower Dave Murray Trail is open. If it is open you will be able to use the ski-in-out access. One other note, we had 2 feet of snow and the neighborhood did not do a great job removing it and we got stuck in our huge SUV twice. We own a ski house in CO very much like this and our neighborhood would never let that happen. In closing, I would recommend this place. We felt it was also a great value. TIP-- Pure Bread is the best bakery I have ever been to! Go to the one in Function Junction--just amazing.

Hi Kevin, thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay so much, it is a lovely home! We do make note that the parking space outside the home is small on the check in instructions, however there is a large 2 car garage available for parking for larger vehicles. We are sorry for the issues with the heating, had we had any way of fixing the heat during your stay we would have. Unfortunately you were staying during the busy holiday period and there was no way to get a technician out during your stay. We are glad we were able to provide you with a space heater for your stay, we did check once you checked out and it was working for us! We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will let strata know about the issue with snow clearing, in times of heavy snow such as when you stayed snowplows teams can be overwhelmed and reach communities later than they should. Thank you for your great review once again and we hope to welcome you back.

Nice ski house

Very nice property. While there were a few things that needed addressing while there, we were always able to contact a friendly and helpful agent.

Nice place very far up hill So be prepared to learn how to drive downhill in snow ! Nice area and unit and garage. Please watch it when you BBQ in case it flares up like it did fir us twice

House is amazing, has everything needed.

Rented for family with teens. Perfect tree top views, hot tub and kitchen are amazing. Will return.
