This unique portion of the Podere Le Splandole is located in the centre of the relaxing Sienese countryside the 'Crete Senesi'. The view from this property is breath-taking. The house can sleep up to 4 people and is made of a living room, a large open kitchen, a very useful laundry, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Every room has its own fantastic view. The house has a central heating. The guests will be provided with linen and towels. The house is replete with all comforts. You can enjoy the courtyard of the Podere to relax and admire the view. You'll be able to have a different walk or ride every day exploring the countryside. At a walk distance there is the bus stop to go to Siena from where, in 15 minutes, you can continue to your favourite destinations.

Stunning place and cannot wait to return

First of all, Michele, the owner, is a treasure! We arrived to find the apt. far above expectations from the photos. He had a bottle of local wine and glasses ready for us in the kitchen. This apt. is large, light and airy and has a gorgeous setting. It seems fairly remote with vast country and views surrounding. However, it is very close and convenient to many wonderful villages and a myriad of culture and art. Michele works from home and was very generous with giving us ideas, directions and great tips on restaurants and other places to visit. We couldn't fit it all in and plan to go back to Italy and stay at this place for 2 least 3 weeks and possibly bring another couple as there are 2 bedrooms. We did the cities this trip (Venice, Florence, Rome) but would prefer to do a more relaxed Italy trip next time and experience much more of the venues available in Tuscany. Also this apartment is completely newly renovated and is a beautiful mix of brick, beams and alabaster. Tastefully decorated and so comfy! Thanks so much Michele! Carol & Bill

Carol ans William are lovely, enthusiastic and very polite. They were wonderful guest, extremely considerate and respected the rule of the house. They are very comunicative and it is very interesting speaking with them. They left my apartment perfectly clean and tidy. I wish all my guests were as charming! We really enjoyed their and I hope he will stays with us again in the future

Een mooi ruim apartement, smaakvol ingericht. Gelegen op de eerste verdieping van een 'podere'

Het apartement is smaakvol ingericht. Het ligt op de eerste verdieping van een podere die geheel is opgedeeld in een flink aantal woningen, meest bewoond door Italiaanse gezinnen. Het voordeel is dat je door de 4 ramen een prachtig uitzicht hebt op de Crete van Siena. Het nadeel is dat je niet even de tuin in kunt lopen. Het ligt op een ruim kwartier rijden naar Siena, dat vanaf de binnenplaats aan de horizon zichtbaar is. De eigenaar Michele woont in dezelfde podere en is behulpzaam met het aandragen van tips voor restaurants, winkels, zwemgelegenheden en stadjes. Kortom: zeer aan te bevelen voor wie Siena en de ruime omgeving ervan wil verkennen.

Einen schönen Urlaub in der Toskana

Eine schöne große Wohnung mit einem tollen Ausblick. Die Unterkunft war günstig gelegen zur Erkundigung der vielen schönen Orte und der tollen Landschaft. Michele gab uns sehr viele Informationen und Empfehlungen bereits schon vorab und Tips für unseren Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank dafür !

Marvellous.

Our stay was in a great Tuscan setting. The house had everything we looked forward to, and was situated near many places you would like to visit. Michele and Francesca's service were perfect. Best place to stay and travel

Staying with Michele was awesome! We had a wonderful time in the toscana and he made it even better. Not only that the apartment is really nice, we also got the most valuable suggestions and advices from him. Beautiful holidays

Michele is a very friendly and helpful host. He answered to all our questions very quickly and comprehensive and gave us a lot of helpful tips for our excursions and restaurants to visit. The accomomdation is in good condition, well equipped and perfectly located in the centre of the Tuscany. Within one hour of drive you can visit a lot of spots in this beautiful area. We definitely would return to Michele and his accomodation and recommend it to our friends.

Maravilloso alojamiento:precioso y muy bien situado

Ha sido un placer nuestra estancia en el apartamento de Michele. Acogedor, con todo lo necesario y decorado con muchísimo gusto. Un sitio realmente único:la luz y el paisaje tal especial que enmarcaban las ventanas como parte de la decoración de la casa. Amaneceres para no olvidar. Y todo a escasos 15 minutos de Siena y muy bien situado para conocer otros lugares de Toscana. La información proporcionada por el dueño también muy útil.

Everithing perfect / Todo perfecto

La acogida por parte de Michele muy buena. El apartamento en el primer piso es tipo loft muy estilo born Barcelona, muy bien equipado y al lado de Siena . Es ideal para unas vacaciones en la Toscana, definitivamente para volver.

We really enjoyed our vacation at "le Splandole". The accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need especially the wonderful view over the surrounding! Très charmant

Nous avons séjourné dans cette location pour 3 nuits. Concernant l'accueil, le propriétaire nous avait envoyé toutes les indications pour trouver facilement. Et une fois sur place, il nous a accueilli vraiment chaleureusement. Le logement est vraiment très agréable : joliment rénové, spacieux, et propre (Critère très important pour nous). Sans oublier que le logement est situé en haut d'une colline qui offre une superbe vue sur le paysage alentour. Bref, nous sommes très satisfaits de la location. Autres points à noter : Le trajet jusqu'à Sienne est vraiment rapide par la 4 voies. Et le propriétaire parle bien français. En résumé, une location que nous recommandons.

Charming and well located apartment

lovely, modern, well equiped and tastefully decorated apartment . The location in the "Crete" region close to Siena is perfect. Good public bus service to Siena is a plus. Michele, the owner, lives next door and is very friendly and helpful. He will give you good advice on restaurants, shops, etc.... The only thing we missed a little was the possibility to sit outside.

Wonderful place in Tuscany

Das Haus ist wunderschön auf einem Hügel gelegen. Die Wohnung ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, selbst in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Für einen Aufenthalt in der Gegend um Siena eine absolute Empfehlung. Einzige Schwachpunkte sind der fehlende Balkon und die Tatsache, dass man hier für alle Unternehmungen das Auto benötigt.
