Very welcoming apartment that directly overlooks the wonderful Piazza Santa Croce in Florence. The property is located on the first floor and is composed as follows: large living room-kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (two complete and one service). Outside there is a beautiful terrace from which you can admire the square in all its splendor.

In addition to the excellent location in the heart of the historic center of Florence, this apartment is appreciated for its amenities: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher and everything needed for cooking.

The location is the best thing about this property. We only stayed one night, so for us it was ok. However, the AC in in the main area was weak, and you lost AC when you leave as you take the entry card with you when you leave. I also found only having one key with 5 adults in our party to be a little frustrating if we had stayed longer.However, it is in a great location! The rooms were clean and while the layout was a little strange, it was good overall.

Very comfortable apartment with AC in all bedrooms and living room/kitchen area. Central location- can walk to Uffizi and David museum. It’s about a 15 min taxi from train station. We would absolutely stay here again.

Location was optimal. Space was clean and well stocked. Older Air conditioning units were not able to cool two of the bedrooms or the living room. Outside temperatures were higher than usual for August.

Location was fabulous!!! You are minutes from everything, which was great. Communication was also great , and check in and out easy. We did run into a few issues in our unit….1- there was black mold under the a/c unit in the master bedroom, the other bedroom shower overflowed, but we called, and they had maintenance out quickly to resolve the issues. The only other thing was, Everytime you left the unit, the air turned off, so it was sweltering when you returned. Other then the issues treat were handled quickly, we had a nice time in Florence.

Great location and plenty of room for our family. There was a chocolate festival outside in the square the night we got there. It was so fun! Shops and restaurants in the square. Walking distance to a lot of stuff.

Two older couples stayed here for a few nights in Florence. We had stayed in the Santa Croce Piazza before and loved the area. This apartment is in a great location but only adequate for the space. The Internet would not work in the back bedrooms and the kitchen is not stocked very well for cooking. If you’re young and looking for a place to sleep and shower, this place will work for you. If you’re older more seasoned travelers, I would recommend another place for the price.

The location was fabulous! Overlooking Santa Croce piazza, a short walk to Piazza della Signoria, and right around the corner from our favorite gelato shop, Gelateria La Carraia. Other destinations in Florence (e.g., Duomo, Accademia, Santa Maria Novella train station, etc.) were also walkable. The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The apartment was in need of a good cleaning as the floors were quite dirty. It was also quite noisy in the evening with other guests moving up and down the stairs and we could hear the nearby rooms also.

The property location was ideal with shops and restaurants within convenient walking distance. It was fun overlooking the piazza and watching people enjoying the very warm summer nights. There are restaurants, a gelato shop, a pastry shop, jewelry stores, and small vendors around the piazza and down the side streets. There is also a taxi area at one end of the piazza which was extremely convenient when we checked out and needed to go to the train station. The hosts were very responsive to messages. (There were a few minor issues that we discovered the night we had arrived. One air conditioner unit had a blocked drain tube and was therefore dripping water onto the floor, and there wasn’t hot water in the showers or sinks. Since it was late, I chose to wait and sent a message the next morning. I received a quick response and a person was sent within a very short period of time to make repairs). We enjoyed our stay and the city! We can’t wait to return!

Location and size of unit can't be beat....Only 1 key card was a bit of a problem because 1.when one person left the key card activates the lights and tv in the main room leaving the other person in the dark2.. If one person came back early....no way to get in apt.if we were not together.....First place I stayed in that mattress was not wrapped in protective cover .....Location, size excellent over nice bar/resturant. Would return..........

Great location with view of Santa Croce

This property is in a great location easily walkable to all of Florence. We enjoyed walking just downstairs to the bar in the evenings. Only issue is that we could only get wifi in the master bedroom and balcony room.

Outstanding location

We spent four nights in this apartment in Firenze. Right on the square. Great location and well appointed. Extremely clean with plenty of linens. A little loud in overnight hours as this neighborhood is a gathering spot for a tremendous number of youthful locals and tourist kept the party going late into the night on the weekend.

A decent stay

Our stay at the Florence VRBO was quite enjoyable. Check-in was a breeze, with a friendly guy meeting us on arrival. The room was fantastic and well-maintained, and the location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. The only downside was the construction happening right outside our window in the square, which was a bit noisy. Despite this, we had a great stay overall.
