Great stay

We all loved our stay at Calbourne mill, a lovely peaceful week, comfy beds and great location. Peacocks and Red squirrels out of the window most mornings, we would definitely return.

We had a lovely 4 days at Goldfinch in Calbourne Mill. It is so quiet and peaceful and the peacocks are wonderful to see. It is convenient for getting to lots of different places on the island. Will definitely return

Welcoming, relaxing and a stunning location

Calbourne Mill is one of the most beautiful places we have every stayed at. With the water and the surroundings, the location is so pretty and relaxing. Feeding the friendly ducks, peacocks, geese and chicken was very entertaining, along with enjoying the crazy golf. The cafe has huge slices of yummy cake and all the staff at Calbourne Mill are so friendly. The small museums, fire engine and the entrance into the water mill all give added interest. Our accommodation was generous in size, especially the living space and the balcony - plenty of space for our family of five (including three teenagers). Everything was very well presented and clean, including a well equipped kitchen. Being around a 20 minute drive from The Needles and 25 minutes from Cowes, the location is brilliant. There is so much to see and do. We also found some great places to eat! Thank you for providing such a wonderful holiday experience.

This cottage combines the best of both worlds, offering the tranquillity of a forest-like setting with the convenience of being centrally located. The cottage itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and warm, perfect for our family of 5. It featured a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances, making our stay comfortable and easy. The living areas, especially the large and cosy couch, were a hit with our son. The bedrooms were tidy, with comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was a highlight, complete with a Jacuzzi and excellent water pressure. The balcony, equipped with a grill, became our favourite spot to relax and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. Its location allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions and the town centre. It provided us with a memorable and peaceful family gathering place. It had all the amenities we could wish for, making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend it for a quality family stay.

A great place for a family escape

Really lovely place to stay, loved the location, with walks right outside. Well equipped, lots of room for 6 of us, loved the terrace for wildlife spotting!

Outstanding Holiday location

The eco lodge at Calbourne Water Mill was just the perfect location to enjoy all the facilities the Isle of Wight could offer. The lodge was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this lodge for any family to use for a perfect holiday.
