French country farmhouse ideal for families

La Ferme has a large, fully enclosed private courtyard garden with a shady pergola for outdoor dining and a stone barbecue. Use the herbs and tomatoes for your barbecue.
Sunbeds are provided.
The children can play happily in our games barn or on the games field. Toys and child-friendly equipment are available on request.
There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in under an hour from La Grue such as Aquajump at Angoulême, the Castle of Riddles at Pons and Monkey Valley at Romagne to name a few.
Of course there's our 12x6m enclosed pool and 15mins away is a plan d'eau with life guards, play area, beach and snack bar.
Walk or cycle (as we are situated on the Boucle33 cycle route) into the local market town of Aigre 16140. Aigre is home to Cognac Gautier, one of the oldest Cognac houses in France offering guided visits and tastings.
Market day is every Thursday morning.
Our neighbours are organic market gardeners. Why not select your veg from the field and have it delivered to your door?
In our parish commune of Mons, there is a Botanic walk in Montbrun woods, a snail farm selling artisan produce and the Aubinaud family who are fifth generation Cognac, Pineau and wine makers.
