Intelsol Calheta Apartment II is a completely renovated 1-bedroom property with a modern, simple, and practical style. Access is by stairs, as this flat is on the third floor of a building located in the Loreto centre, Calheta.

The property has one bedroom with a double bed and access to the outside. The WC is common to the flat and is equipped with a shower. The living room and kitchen share the same space and give access to the outside, which offers incredible views over the sea, a dining area, and a barbecue. The sofa turns into a bed, so the capacity of this property is for a maximum of 4 people. All rooms have air conditioning.

Wi-Fi is available in all areas.
There is no reserved parking; however, there is free parking next to the building.

AREA
Flat located in the Loreto centre, a sunny area of the Calheta municipality. It is a 10-minute drive from Calheta beach, where you can also find bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. Close by is the “Engenho da Calheta”, one of the oldest sugar cane mills in Madeira Island. The facilities and its machinery used in the production of sugar cane brandy and honey may be visited all year round. It has a tasting room and a wine bar.
Calheta is about a 40-minute drive from the Funchal city centre.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply to all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a baby cot, a high chair, and a baby bath if needed, but you should request these in advance. There is a first aid kit, extinguishers, and a fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. All customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.

By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.

Excellent apartment in a lovely location

A very very nice apartment, has all of the facilities you could need. Very modern and clean. A car is needed for this location but there is plenty of parking available

Lovely and spacious appartement

Beautiful place, very well equipped, balcony , view, crisp sheets and towels, a real pleasure! Yes, there is a church bell and no it's not disturbing, actually very cute and only in decent hours. It was easy to park right infront and overall the place felt easy and homey!

Clean modern flat with great views

The flat is on the third floor - access by stairs - and has lovely views of the sea and the nearby church. It's very generously sized and is well equipped with indoor and outdoor seating, a BBQ, a washing machine and everything that you might need in the kitchen, including a dishwasher. The flat has a wrap-around balcony accessed from the living space and the bedroom. There's parking on the other side of the road (and more located below the square), a supermarket, a mini-mart, a restaurant and a few bars in walking distance. The church bells don't ring during the night, and it's in a very quiet location.

Nice apartment with good traffic connection

Everything was as described in text and pictures. Having carefully read the description I was prepared for the 50 /- steps. There’s a couple of quiet typical Madeiran Bars, a mini supermarket and an ATM right next to the building. Parking was never a problem. It’s located on one of the main overland roads. That’s a big advantage as many of the holiday homes in Madeira are located in the hills with very narrow and extremely steep access. A more sophisticated supermarket and a nice bar with good food are just 1 minute by car or 5 minutes by feet away. I would always come back.

Top Unterkunft!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich einwandfrei. Die Lage war Prima. Nicht mitten in der Stadt und schön ruhig. Mit einem Mietwagen war alles super zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft einem bei allen Fragen. Wir können es definitiv weiterempfehlen!
