Duck Inn, newly renovated one story home, featuring a full kitchen with all new
appliances and granite countertops. Sit back and relax in the den on the new sofas and
recliner, and large flat screen TV. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, Bedroom 2 has a Queen
bed. The full bathroom has a shower and tub combo. You have access to a washer and
dryer in the home.
Retreat to the large backyard, with gated privacy fencing, a covered patio with seating
and a gas grill. Gather here to play Giant Jenga, lawn Bocce, and washers.
You will have covered off street parking.
No need to uber from the Duck Inn. Stroll to Historic Downtown Boerne along Heart of
Boerne walking path on the banks of the Cibolo Creek. Stop and feed the ducks. Shop
local at boutiques, art galleries, antiques. Thirsty? Step into craft brew pubs, wine
tasting, shaved ice, hand crafted cocktails. Hungry? Don’t miss the bakery, award

Had a really great stay here. The place was super clean, comfortable, and looked even better in person. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect and the little details around the house made it feel welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 10/10 all day everyday!!!!

We loved our weekend at Duck Inn. The home was so cute and well appointed and had everything we needed for a fun mother daughter weekend. We felt very safe and the backyard was such a nice place to relax and read a book. Great location in walking distance to downtown Boerne. I look forward to staying here again.

We are repeat renters at the Duck Inn. The hosts are very communicative and easy to reach. The house is everything you want in a property—clean, plenty of room for us, and easy walking or driving distance to dining, shopping, and activities. Most important are the thoughtful touches such as bottled water, plenty of towels, multi-plug outlets, and basic toiletries.

The rating for James should be a 5 star plus. My intention for his rating was a 5 star, but VRBO posted a 4 star. James and his guest were very respectful of the home and house rules. They left the home immaculate. Highly recommend to other hosts. VRBO will not change my rating and I apologize for this .

Ideal Location

Have stayed here before and it is always wonderful. Very well appointed with no detail overlooked. And the location cannot be beat with downtown Boerne easily accessible.

Family weekend

We had a wonderful stay! The house was just perfect for our family, very conveniently located. The managers where very helpful with suggestions from food to activities for our six year old.

The Duck Inn for the win!

Our experience at the Duck In was wonderful. It was so clean, had everything needed and accessible, location was perfect, and the backyard was such a nice area to hang out and relax! Would definitely recommend (for smaller groups) and we will be back!

Absolutely a PERFECT place to stay. So clean and filled with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Close to Main Street and so many amenities. Excellent!!!

Perfect place for my family

Perfect location and organized, well stocked home!!!

Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at!

Upon arrival we were instantly wow’d. The place is so clean, nice and in such a great location! The house has everything you can think of, the beds are cozy, the backyard is nice and kitchen and bathroom so clean and cute! We’d definitely stay here again (and plan to!)

Perfect

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Duck Inn. Everything was immaculate and the owners have put in so many thoughtful touches. We will be recommending this rental to our friends and family in the area for when they have guests, and we plan to stay here again on future Boerne visits.

Duck Inn Boerne

This property was filled with all things needed for a perfect stay. Super clean. Super cozy. Super close to downtown (walking distance). Super cute with all the ducks. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend the Duck Inn!!

Winter Retreat

Such a wonderful home and property. So clean and equipped with everything extra one would need. Extra specials were all the Christmas decorations. We loved our visit.

Location! Amenities! Location!

Wonderful property for a stay in Boerne, which is a very charming town we return to every year. The downtown shopping, restaurant and brewery scene is all within walking distance and the No. 9 multi-use (hike and bike) trail is also nearby. Well-kept property with everything a visitor needs and an emphasis on natural products such as laundry detergent and bath products.

Cute and clean

It was a last minute reservation and we were surprised how cute and clean the property was inside and out! The owner obviously cares about their clients as every amenity under the sun was provided. Thank you for the stay!

They live and work in Boerne, and take heartfelt pride in the heritage and traditions of the Texas Hill Country. John and Karen have German and Czech ancestry and can’t wait to welcome you to Boerne.

They love the Texas-sized hospitality that Boerne has to offer. Their favorite part of living in the Hill Country is the wide selection of unique dining, shopping, music venues, scenic drives, and winery, distillery, and brewery tours.

Duck Inn is location, location, location- and is newly renovated with updated furniture and fixtures. The Duck Inn is located within walking distance to downtown Boerne’s shops and restaurants, and is also just a quick drive away from Fredericksburg, San Antonio, and many other fun Hill Country destinations. You can enjoy a view of the Cibolo Creek from the front yard of the Duck Inn, or stroll along the Heart of Boerne walking trail, stopping to feed the ducks, pier fish, drop a kayak in the creek, or just have a seat and enjoy the views. Don’t forget to stop for a meal or a brew at one of our favorite restaurants, both just a half-block walk away from the Duck Inn. The Dodging Duck Brewhaus offers lunch, dinner, and a brew and wine selection, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Cibolo Creek. The Little Gretel Restaurant offers an award-winning authentic Czech and traditional German menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a lovely Biergarten overlooking the Cibolo Creek.
