Very pleasant stay

Enjoyed our 10 days at “Dormy”. Shoreline and open sandy beach a short walk away and open fields in front of the property with sightings of deer and the first arrival of geese. Good local options to eat out. Short drive to Stalham for supermarket and day boat trips on the Broads.

Lovely Coastal Stay

Dormy is a really lovely property, situated in a quiet, beach location. The property is maintained to a really high standard and was very clean throughout. Location was amazing with only a 3 minute walk to endless sandy beaches with really easy access. Super dog friendly and great for our two dogs with lots of towels, poo bags and even a dog stroller for our older dog. Really recommend this for anyone looking for a dog friendly, quiet break by the sea.

I didn’t want to leave

What a beautiful location and so peaceful. We wanted to stay forever. We will be back hopefully really soon Thank you for making us feel so welcome and thank you for the basket of local quality foods left we were pleasantly surprised and appreciative. On our final night a baby deer walked past the front of the house what an unexpected bonus so adorable. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful bungalow.

Wonderful holiday!

Such an amazing holiday the weather was perfect with a wonderful sea breeze , The property is spacious well thought out and comfortable The beds are comfortable best sleep we have ever had on holiday good quality mattress and bedding. Lovely welcome package and a large garden for the dogs, just needs some wire on the fence to the drive and perhaps someways to secure gate

Lovely Stay for Dog Owners

What a wonderful stay we had at Dormy. Our dog loved running around in both the front and back garden. The proximity to the dog friendly beach was excellent as well! Dormy came so well stocked with necessities and everything needed in the kitchen to cook meals. The house was very clean and comfortable.Thank you for a lovely stay.

What more could you ask for, amazing place and location

This is our third time staying and Dormy it’s as magical as the first. From the arrival up the bumpy gravel road and into the house, it’s spotless then as you turn the corner there was an an amazing welcome pack on the side with a mixture for the humans and the dogs. The place is all on one level and has a secure garden front and back. Everything you need is here! It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach, wish I could set the tide times through. What more can I say, we love this place and will be back next year!

Lovley stay

Lovley stay at dormy Lovley and clean and comfy we had some lovley weather and walk to the light house then back down the beach. Due to things happening at home we left on Friday afternoon so we could get thing sorted at home Dogs and humans all had a grate time. Thankyou dormy We will be back

Couldn't be closer to the beach

Whilst the access road isn't the nicest to drive, the property and location are worth it. Dormy was clean and spacious and the owners had kindly left a few essentials. While you can't actually see the sea from the back garden you can certainly hear it as it's just a couple of hundred yards away over the cliff defences. You can be on the sandy beach in under 5 minutes. If you love strolling along a beach with your dogs, then Dormy is a great choice.

A perfect bank holiday weekend at Dormy

A fantastic property in a fantastic location! The bungalow is beautifully decorated and very clean. The welcome pack is extremely generous and we had everything we could ever need! Our lab and 3 year old daughter loved having the run of both well-kept gardens and it was perfect being a couple of minutes away from the beach. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! We’ll definitely book to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect location for a quiet and peaceful stay

With the only noise being the sea crashing on the rocks Dormy is the perfect location for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The bungalow was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay, the bed was so comfortable The garden was totally enclosed, perfect for our 3 little dogs. There was a generous welcome pack waiting for us on arrival which contained good quality items, including handmade dog treats. Will definitely be recommending Dormy to our friends and family.

Wonderful break at Dormy

From the moment we arrived, we loved Dormy! Fantastic location, so warm and comfortable and everything there we could wish for. The welcome pack was so generous and the dogs loved their treats. Having the beach just a couple of minutes walk away was fabulous, and we spent a lot of time there, plus the open fields at the front made Dormy one of the most peaceful breaks we have had.

Perfect holiday

A relaxing bungalow in excellent condition with everything you would need for a holiday with your dog. Being close to the dog friendly beach was a bonus.

Perfect winter break

What a beautiful holiday let, Dormy has everything you need for a relaxing holiday perfect for both humans and dogs. Our weather was not the best but Dormy was so warm and comfortable it was like being at home, an amazing welcome pack for us and our dogs a garden just right for zoomies and the beach just a few minutes away who could ask for more. Dormy is definitely a five star property hopefully we will return.

Comfortable, dog friendly and two minutes from the beach

We stayed with our sometimes reactive whippet and two teenagers, and he settled here better than he has anywhere else. He took to the bungalow straight away and was soon roaching out on the sofa, which he does constantly at home but has never once done away. Both gardens are enclosed, which took a lot of pressure off. Parking is off road in the front garden, and the quick path to the beach next door but one makes getting out with a dog very easy. The bungalow is a good size for two adults and two teenagers. The girls loved having their own TV in their room. The beds and sofas are really comfortable, the table was perfect for us, the wifi was good, the kitchen was well stocked and the welcome pack was fab. The french doors are at the front of the property, so our dog had a good view of the road/track. It is a reasonably quiet one and passing traffic is occasional rather than constant. It needed a bit of management rather than causing any real problem for us. We would happily come back.

Fantastic stay!

It was the absolute best dog friendly, cleanest, most comfortable stay we’ve been to. Everything for dogs ( & Hoomans!) catered for. Great location with a very short walk to beach and secure gardens back and front. Lovely and quiet- just the waves to listen to. Thank you

So nice, we came twice

A return visit to the cleanest Holiday accommodation I have ever experienced. Located so near to the beach, and the large garden with high fences is a delight for the dogs. The entire property has been planned with dogs in mind relieving anxiety for their owners.

Another fab stay.

Our second stay at the beautiful Dorny. The Welcome Packs for both humans and doggies were again excellent promoting local produce, which is a must for us. Fabulous location, doggies enjoyed their daily beach walks - we couldn’t do the usual numerous miles due to our senior boy (13) and senior girl (11) but they loved it. Still remains our plan to retire to beautiful Norfolk one day! My only negative is the road leading to the property has deteriorated since our previous stay, Thank you for a great stay.

A Wonderful Find

We stayed at Dormy for a week and wished it could have been longer. This is definitely one of the nicest dog friendly holiday homes we have stayed in. The accommodation was so comfortable, including the beds, very nicely decorated and everything was to a high standard and worked! The large garden was a big plus for the dogs too! We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Dormy cottage, Eccles,Norfolk

A warm, comfortable bungalow with everything needed for me and my dogs. Lovely to be such a short walk to the beach. Our second visit and we had a happy,restful holiday. Only down side is the potholes!
