Beauty

Our stay was what we expected🤗 comfy cozy plenty of room to for everyone. Very clean when arrived, we had everything we needed. I would recommend The Manor House to all. Our host Tamsin was a pleasure to deal with she is warm and friendly, I would go back again if ever we visit the area again❤️

Family get together weekend

This was a beautiful period property ideal for our family group. The Host was very helpful and there was lots of thoughtful information at the property that made our stay easier, for instance information on how appliances worked and places of interest and facilities in the locality. Overall it was the perfect place for us to stay. Lovely.

A taste of Tudor life

We very much enjoyed our stay, experiencing a taste of Tudor life(!). The garden was amazing and the house was full of character. It was only let down by a lack of showers - there was only one, together with two baths, but I guess that was sufficient in Tudor times!? A little more privacy between the occupied Annex and the garden would also have been welcome.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay Stephen and the weather was good for your son's wedding. I'm sorry you were disappointed that we have baths and just one shower. That is explained in the property description, so it is a shame that you missed it. I'll try to highlight it for future guests. Likewise, I have explained in the description of the property that my mother lives next door, and I highlighted this before you booked, and you said that you were happy. Sarah's Wedding

We stayed at the Manor House for two nights prior to my daughters wedding as a family of 9. The house, grounds and location were perfect for a special family event, the Manor House is a beautiful period house full of charm and character, spotlessly clean, comfortable with plenty of space for a large family. Tamsin communicated promptly and positively to a number of my questions / requests and provided information of local services. Sorry we didn't finish the lovely cake you baked for us; it was delicious!

A Real Gem - We Can’t Wait to Return

We cannot speak highly enough of this property. We hosted a murder mystery weekend for my father’s 70th birthday and it was the perfect setting. Every part of the house was full of character, and the courtyard garden was so peaceful. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. One of the most charming touches was the blackboard on the wall, listing the vegetables growing in the garden. Although we had already brought everything and didn’t get the chance to try them, the gesture was lovely. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable, including the camp bed. It was also a nice touch to find a white tablecloth on the formal dining table when we had our birthday dinner. This place is a real gem and we really hope to come back again.

Lovely manor for a family

We enjoyed our stay at the Manor. We were two families traveling together, 9 of us total (5 were children). The home was so cozy we hardly wanted to leave it for our day trips. There was plenty of space for gathering, sleeping, and even a play room for the kids including lots of games. All four boys were thrilled to discover the bin of Legos. The backyard garden was beautiful. We were busy enough we didn't spend lots of time there, but enjoyed the walks through it. The beauty of the garden did make us nervous to let our boys play soccer in the backyard, as we didn't want any flowers damaged. We walked to the farm store 3 minutes away most mornings for a latte and pastry. We also enjoyed picking up a bottle of wine there for our evenings. Tamsin was incredibly helpful and responsive. She even let us know about the 80th D-day Commemoration/Celebration occuring in Bramley, which we are grateful to have attended. The only challenge for us was that most of the bathrooms had bathtubs, but only one had a shower. As the majority of us prefer showers, we shared that master ensuite a bit more than we expected. Overall we highly recommend this home!
