Excellent week in London

It’s always a leap of faith booking a place on line. Sometimes the pictures are too good to be true. This property was as nice, if not nicer than advertised. The property was clean, and comfortable. Had an excellent view of the city. Proximity to East Putney Underground station was very convenient. Sitting on top of a Sainsbury’s was also quite convenient. Check in process was flawless. Communication was great. Will look to rent this property again when next coming to London. Thank you for a great week.

Terrific — Easy tube ride into central London

The tube was about 1/2 block from the front door. The grocery store at the apartment building made being able to get breakfast on our own in the apartment easy. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates etc. The terrace was beautiful. The apartment was a real oasis. The one drawback was we counted on using the washer/dryer. The washer worked fine, but we could not get the dryer to work at all. We ended up using the terrace to dry our laundry. We hope the neighbors didn’t mind our laundry strewn all over! Either verbal instructions or the user manual would have been helpful.

This is a wonderful apartment. Convenient location and well serviced by public transport, cafes and supermarkets BUTUpon arrival we were told the washing machine was broken! One of the reasons we choose to stay in an apartment rather than an ( air conditioned!) hotel. The host clearly knew it was broken but did not have it repaired before our arrival. They offered to have it replaced 6 days after we arrived only if we could stay in for the installer.We were in London when the daily temperature was over 27 degrees for 6 days in a row.The open plan living room/kitchen/dining has no curtains.... the sun poured in every morning from 5am. By 11am it was unbearably hot. There is no air conditioningThe bedrooms had very little airflow.. the windows only opened about 5cmThere is no cooling. We only had 3 fans. I thought I would have a cold shower to cool off....ensuite shower does not do cold it is preset to very warmThe microwave was useless as it was positioned on top of a full size fridge and unreachableThe fridge was good . It had an ice makerThe large balcony was fabulous. We sat out there in the evening trying to catch a cool breezeWonderfull apartment but it needs curtains in the living area and air conditioning
