We had a lovely time at this holiday home! The location was perfect for hiking and wine tasting, The garden area was a nice touch, and we made good use of the barbecue facilities, The hosts were friendly, and we appreciated their tips on local attractions, Just a minor note: the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t dampen our spirits!

This is a lovely little apartment which is the ground floor of the owners house. It is on a residential street on the edge of the village and from the garden there is a nice view of the vineyards on the other side of the river. The garden is a pleasant space with a patio and shady pergola. Please note it is not secure for dogs as it is open to the driveway and road, which meant our dog wanted to go and say hello to the dogs in the house opposite! Its a pleasant 50 minute walk along a river path into Bernkastel-Kues. The only thing between the apartment and the river is a campsite so it is really quick to get down to the river. In the apartment itself the bedroom is a good size with a very comfy bed. The lounge is big and was lovely and cool in the hot weather. The kitchen is tiny but has a decent sized fridge, hob etc but limited storage for food.We couldnt find any info about wifi and our limited German made it difficult to ask the owner but we were happy to go without!Overall it was a good spot for what we needed. The lovely garden was definitely the highlight!
