Property wasn’t the cleanest with mould under the bed (in the main bedroom), and a mouldy smell. Luckily we spent a lot of time outdoors and going on trips. Minor was that one of the dogs (black dog) wasn’t very friendly towards children.

The property is lovely and the owners very communicative and helpful. However on the listing it says that the property is located in central Angers, where as it is actually in a very rural location 45 mins north. This was quite a surprise when we called to confirm that we had arrived at the Google maps location we had been sent by Vrbo. After adjusting to this unexpected change, we could embrace the benefits, loads of space, it has a private feel even though the owners are on the same site in the main house. We appreciated all of the facilities, outdoor space, bbq, well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and lots of space to spread out. The house could benefit from having a few staples like salt, pepper and olive oil in stock. We had to ask for hand soap as there was only 1 bar in the kitchen on arrival, but this was quickly sorted. The property was generally clean, the insides of the vanity units could have done with a wipe around and there were lots of dead flies in one of the bedrooms. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Thank you Maxence!
