Dear Chris, Thank you so much for your feedback and review – it was a pleasure having you all to stay. The dishwasher issue has, indeed, been resolved (it was a tricky one!) and I’m sorry that inconvenienced you during your stay. Alas, all ‘white goods’ misbehave from time to time and I’m pleased Erica was on hand to help. I note the comments about certain areas needing a lift. We did redecorate completely during lockdown but since then, the barns have been 100% occupied and it hasn’t been possible for us to get in and remove scuffs and so forth with fresh paint – which is what we normally do. We have just six hours a week to change the barns over. As soon as we can, though, we’ll be in to freshen things up again. For those staying for a whole week the idea of a change of towels and so forth is an excellent idea and I think this is a service we may well introduce – thank you for that. Finally, the beds. We conducted some pretty extensive research before buying the beds and 'medium soft' came out as the most popular. We have had many compliments over the years for the beds - and a few have asked where to get them from. At the end of the day, this is down to personal choice. As a man who likes a hard bed - I totally get that - but we've done our best to suit as many guests as possible. We look forward to welcoming you back in due course. With warmest best wishes, Peter.
