Ski in Ski Out Luxury Apartment with South West Facing Balcony!

A charming traditionally furnished apartment with open plan living area and log fire and a personal high speed WIFI connection. Following requests we have now amended the way the daily tourist tax is collected, this is now included in the price so there is no more collecting the daily tourist tax, we pay it for you and saves a lot of hassle.
The apartment is fitted out with all the personal touches you appreciate on a relaxing holiday including under floor heating, dishwasher, washing machine, 42 inch HD flat screen TV with DVD/blueray player (complete with a library of DVDs). Surround sound home cinema system with bluetooth and i-phone / i-pad connectivity. We have now added simple extras, there is a bluetooth adapter so you can now play music remotely from your phone with no connection, also an HDMI connecting lead is in the apartment so you can plug in your laptop and watch your favourite channels and sport on the large TV.
There are towels and linen provided as well as warm duvets on the beds. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.
Included in the rent is the use of the Chalet des Neiges mini indoor heated swimming pool [perfect for children or for adults to loosen off those tired muscles!], sauna and fitness suite. The complex also includes a ski hire shop and a traditional French restaurant with a south facing terrace for those long lazy lunches.
There is direct access to the main street of Oz en Oisans with various bars, restaurants and shops including a supermarket.
Parking is available close by, either outside if spaces allow or a covered car park which you can book in advance or upon arrival subject to availability .

Tourist tax is included. You no longer pay as an extra.

absolutely perfect

Large spacious apartment. Perfect for 2 families. Opposite esf meet point and Sherpa shop. Great ski storage in the building. Pool is next building over but was great for the kids. Sandrine the property manager was great. Thanks so much for a great week !

Bon séjour dans l'immeuble les Marmottes

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine en famille dans ce grand appartement. Quelques suggestions d'amélioration : - Installer un canon verrou à code pour le local à ski afin de ne pas avoir à ramener la clef dans l'appartement si tout le monde ne ski pas. - prévoir une 2ième clef pour que si quelqu'un utilise la salle de sport ou la piscine les autres puissent avoir une clef. - Prévoir un chauffage électrique dans la chambre adossée à la cuisine. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette appartement.

Perfect!

The accommodation is in a superb location - truly ski-in ski-out. It is spacious and well equipped. The village has good facilities and is really well linked to the ski area. The correspondence I had with the owner was always timely and courteous and the property manager in resort could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back!

Appartement très pratique

Appartement conforme à la description. Au cœur de la station de Oz. Départ et retour skis aux pieds si assez d'enneigement. Accès facile à tout le domaine skiable de l'Alpe d'Huez et Oz-Vaujany. Vue du balcon sur la rue principale et le départ des cours ESF. Accueil parfait par Sandrine qui reste toujours disponible. Les lits étaient préparés pour notre arrivée : très confortable. Un point négatif quand même sur le réglage de la température de l'eau dans les salles de bain, soit brulant, soit glacé, difficile surtout pour les enfants. Aussi une deuxième clé serait pratique pour pouvoir aller directement au casier à ski. Merci beaucoup

Très bel appartement

Très bel appartement, très bien situé (commerces, ESF, remontées) surtout quand l’enneigement est au rendez-vous avec retour ski aux pieds. Accueil très sympathique de la part de Sandrine qui est d’une grande disponibilité. Tout est nickel. Grand séjour, 5 chambres doubles, 5 SDB avec baignoires et 2 WC séparés. Occupé à 12 personnes durant une semaine sans souci. Piscine, sauna, hammam appréciables dans la résidence et petite salle de fitness attenante. Station d’Oz bien placée sur le magnifique domaine de l’Alpe d’Huez, qui ravira les bons skieurs mais avec un retour possible par télécabines (16h45) qui contentera tout le monde. Bon accueil des commerçants, école de ski, office du tourisme.

Great apartment truly Ski in and out

Lovely apartment in quiet resort of Oz en Oisans, with easy access to the huge Alpe D'Huez ski area. Delightful place to stay, well appointed with all the services you need in a comfortable environment

Excellent location, great apartment

Really well situated, ski in/out. Ski school meeting point just below the apartment, so can leave 2 mins before lessons start 10 people really, as although 2 sofa-beds, not really enough storage for 10, let alone 12. 3 rooms en-suite shower/bath rooms, and 2 additional bathrooms, however only 2 toilets in the whole apartment could lead to queues. Living room nice, open fire [did not use as warm weather], great view from the balcony; over the high street with the far side of the valley beyond. A very nice village with a few bars, shop and restaurants. Several ski hire places very close by. Sandrine, who let us in and was our contact for the week, was particularly helpful. Would definitely go back

Very well situated appartment

We had a very pleasant stay at this appartment (4 adults, 4 children and 1 baby). It is very well situated and well equiped. We used caterers Service Traiteurs Monts et Merveilles (Patty and Serge) and had delicious 3-course meals for 5 days. I would recommend this to everybody. We did have a problem with our hot water supply, but this was taken care of immediately by Roland (service manager). Perhaps 1 point of improvement could be the beds/matrasses, they were quite hard for our taste.

Toujours très bien!

Nous venons dans cet appartement pour la 2e année consécutive. Il est toujours extrêmement agréable et bien placé. 5 chambres + 5 salles de bain et une grande pièce à vivre, c'est parfait. Nous avons néanmoins quelques remarques: - propreté: toutes les salles de bain n'étaient pas propre à notre arrivée - équipement: le lave vaisselle était inutilisable - luminaires: plusieurs ampoules défectueuses ont rapidement été remplacées

Nicolas thank you for your review and pleased you had a good holiday. Apologies the bathrooms were not all clean, we have spoken to the property manager and we are looking to make changes accordingly for next year. The dishwasher we understand was repaired, and hope not too much of an inconvenience, we were there last week and it was working well. Regarding lighting we always replace the bulbs as quickly as possible and overall lighting is something we will look to improve for next year.

Lovely well equipped property in a great location

A nice apartment located in the small and quiet Oz-en-Oisans village - ideal for small families. Genuinely ski-in ski-out However, the property manager under impressed and the chalet needs some 'TLC' from them The beds weren't made on arrival with sheets and towels simply left in the lower room by the front door A (large) number of light bulbs were blown leaving the chalet very dark. Our request for replacements took 2 days for a response with (insufficient) bulbs supplied and then simply left in flat leaving us to change them all. We never met the property manager during the entire week and there was no information book telling how to use the property Having paid a high rent for a peak season week I would have expected better.

Thank you for the review. There are mixed views from clients regarding making the beds, we do make sure there is clean linen and towels. Sorry to hear a few light bulbs have gone ,that is wear and tear the property manager did provide replacements. Change over days are very busy for the property manager so they are not always able to meet you. They did confirm they responded to your contact re the light bulbs and we understand there were no requests they did not attend to. The email sent provides all the detail on the apartment , though we are happy to look at a further information summary for those that would like it. Anyone who would like specifically to meet the manager, that is no problem let us know and that can be arranged.

This is a fantastic appartment, spacious and well equipped just 10m from the ski slopes

We had a great stay in Oz. It's a hamlet with great access to the Alp d'Huez ski area. The apprtment is well equipped, with spacious with a log fire, great living area and with lots of baths and hot water for tired skiing legs. There's also a minimgym and pool. We used caterers Service Traiteurs (Patty and Serge) who brought in a delicious dinner 5 days out of 7. Thanks for a great holiday

Absolutely Perfect!

Our two families with 6 children (2-14) had the most wonderful pre-Christmas holiday in this fabulous apartment! The location is not only beautiful but extremely convenient; located right next to the ESF and so close to the wonderful toddler nursery, all shops, cafes, magic carpet and 2 extremely efficient cable cars linked to the 2 extensive skiing areas. The lack of snow did not matter at all, as many slopes were still able to open and were well maintained. Oz has a charming village feel and a really proactive tourist office, who made sure there were plenty of Christmassy events for the children to attend. The apartment itself was warm, clean, really spacious, comfortable and with stunning views. We mostly had our meals delivered by the local catering service, which was such a treat and highly recommended (Monts & Mervilles), The hosts and owner (on email) were all extremely helpful. We feel this place would be very hard to beat and we hope to stay again soon! Thankyou so much...

Great location easy access to two ski lifts, bars and restaurants.

We stayed at apartment Mathilde first week in Feb 2016, it is in a great location, ski in ski out with bars, restaurants and best of all a bakery all within about 50 metres of the front door. So you can have fresh croissants and baguettes every morning before catching the Poutran lift which takes you straight to the Alpe Dhuez ski area. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you want easy access to the two lifts in Oz en Oisans and are happy with a relatively small selection of very good bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Fantastic ski in ski out apartment

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough! Very spacious and perfect location - genuine ski in ski out accommodation. Perfectly positioned balcony to get the sun in the evening also. The rooms were spotless and very well appointed with lovely high loft ceilings. The supermarket, patisserie, bars and restaurants are all within about 2 minutes walk from the apartment and the gondolas are pretty much on your doorstep. The apartment manager Sandrine could not have been more helpful - anything we needed was no trouble. This apartment is perfect for families or large groups. We will certainly be back again.

close to everything with all amenities

Chalet Mathilde was exactly as described. Ski in ski out. ESF was 10 metres away, nursery 50 metres. Kitchen was well stocked for self catering, and bedrooms comfortable. A great week was had by all.

We purchased this property because we loved the location.
For 9 years it was rented to a management company.
We decided to upgrade the apartment and rent it directly.
We have fitted highspeed WIFI / 42 inch tv / surround sound cinema system / washing machine / extra pictures, mirrors, cushions etc.
We have also upgraded the linen, towels and generally improved the apartment.
