Quinta De Nadais - Douro Valley Estate

Hello Stephane, and thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad you enjoyed Quinta De Nadais, the views, and the region. It is indeed something we are very proud of and always love to share our family estate with people visiting the region. I wanted to address your point on privacy which is something important to us. The villa/house is indeed private and for our guests only. So, by booking it, it is not shared with anyone else, so is the pool and the pool area. Only our guests have access to it. As for the property itself, as you may have seen, it is rather big. We have over 10 hectares that require daily maintenance and the lady you saw in the estate is someone that helps taking care of the trees, fruit trees, flowers, gardens as well as family help. Quinta De Nadais is a working family estate that requires maintenance hence we need someone on spot with everyday things in general. As you may have seen, the estate has over 300 cherry trees. During the picking season, we can have over 40 people picking up fruit, and had past guests join them as well. Furthermore, whenever we have people visiting, we have had our staff bring them fresh fruit, fresh eggs, show them around the property as you can read per other reviews, as we want to make sure that people experience something unique but also have someone closeby should our guests need anything in case I am not there myself.
