Beautiful villa in an amazing location, really helpful and welcoming host.

Villa Bernocco is one of the nicest places i have ever stayed. It is very well situated, close to pietrasanta and St Lucia which are beautiful little places. Allegra the host is extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for places to see and eat. The house itself has everything you need, the decor is beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The real stand out is the pool however, it is saltwater and really beautiful, surrounded by nature and so relaxing. Our group enjoyed every minute of our stay, we would highly recommend it.

Heaven in Tuscany!

We had the best time at Allegra’s beautiful property. The Villa is beautifully decorated- no detail missed from both a decor and functional perspective. There are so many interesting decorations, art, the rooms all have their own personalities- there is a guest suite- which felt like it’s own little apartment. But they have also thought about the functional part and they also have umbrellas, laundry baskets, hair dryers, a fully stocked kitchen with every tool you would ever need, lots and lots of dish ware and cutlery. The pool is absolutely stunning and they had ample seating with extra towels and pillows. The view out of every window was spectacular. The sunsets were unbelievable. This property (and working with Allegra) is truly a first-class experience, above and beyond a typical VRBO that is usually stocked with the bare bones. Her and her staff made us feel like we were staying at a friends place, would 10/10 recommend and hope to return one day.

Natalie and her family are the perfect guests. They were super charming and left the house in immaculate condition. I'm sad we didn't get the chance to meet in person , but despite us only communicating over the phone , it was as though we had! I hope you had a safe trip home to Canada and God willing to have you back again one day soon!

Serenity Beauty

What a beautiful, peaceful, stay! The home was impeccably furnished and the area was gorgeous. From the church bells, the amazing views from the hills, and everyone we met during our stay - all soul enriching. We were a family of 4 visiting from CT, we intend to go back to Camaiore and stay at this very special home! The host and her team were truly so caring and wonderful. So much to do around Camaiore and it really felt like we got a local experience which is what we wanted. We can’t wait to return!!

Stunning property

We spent a week-long holiday at this stunning property in Camaiore. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The house is absolutely gorgeous, as are the grounds, natural environment, and private swimming pool. It has been decorated with very good taste, with a harmonious and luminous result. The property is set on a private estate, with exclusive access through a gate. The owner Allegra and the staff (Fausto and Nadia) were absolutely lovely and helpful all along, from before our arrival to the time of our departure. We have travelled throughout Europe got a number of years, but have never received such attentive and caring service. Among some of the unique features of the property: 1) easy access to some of Italy’s loveliest beaches and villages (Pietrasanta, etc); 2) property set in a secluded, private estate but with immediate access to shops, bars, restaurants and pastry shops; 3) stunning decoration throughout the house, with high-quality fixtures, lovely colour combinations and an impressive library of books and DVDs; 4) air conditioning throughout the house, lovely swimming pool under the partial shade of trees, “GreenEgg” barbecue in the garden, etc. This was the ultimate Tuscan holiday, and we will return to enjoy it once more!

Séjour très agreable

La maison d Allegra est ravissante, très bien décorée, le jardin et la piscine fantastiques, tout cela à 15 mns de la mer. Tout était parfait nous recommandons.

An Amazing trip for the whole family

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Bernocco. The house is well appointed with modern amenities yet had all the feel and charm of an Italian country house. The pool is amazing, the kids lived in it and it's a great one for morning laps. The countryside and light is beyond beautiful. The house offers a quiet getaway feeling, yet minutes from Camaiore and short drives to Forte dei Marmi and Lucca. Allegra (the owner) was amazingly helpful- offering local tips and answering any questions. We could not speak more highly about our experience.

Wonderful Villa

What a wonderful time in this home. It was a plus having A/C in all the rooms and they worked really good too. We were a group of 10 and it was more than spacious. The Host Allegra was wonderful she was in communication with me all the time. Even before our trip she was suggesting restaurants and tips etc. She would answer all emails and texts promptly. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was a huge plus to arrive home in the evenings and cool off by the pool. There is a huge market only 15 min away that Allegra recommended and it had everything we needed. The house has a great location to where we wanted to visit and we would do Day trips every day. 1 hour from Florence, 1 hour from La Spezie to get the train to Cinque Terre. Really close to Lucca and Pisa was close too. The longest we drove was San Gimignano and Volterra and that wasn’t too bad because the views were while worth it. Check in and check out process was super easy. The only negative part was having to leave but would love to come back sometime in the future.

Classic Italian villa decorated with such personal treasures you feel very special to be there.

A gorgeous atmosphere - cicadas in the air, breezy trees and deliscious salt water pool. Air con in all bedrooms is new and superb which is needed in the heat! Loved the privacy of the estate and yet 5 minutes from beautiful Camariore for supermarket, shops, gelato & coffee. Bathrooms new and beautifully appointed. Kitchen small but We catered for 10 over two weeks no problem. Lots of fabulous restaurants close by. Lots of different areas to have drinks and meals at home in shade and sun. Great proximity to Portofino or Florence day trip - 1.5 hrs drive. So close to best beach clubs at Forte Dei Marme

Quality Family Time

Over the past weeks my family and I have had one of the best holidays together. Our time in Italy has been fantastic and made even better by where we have spent most of our time, "Villa Bernocco". The house and all amenities is a home away from home. The house offers the freedom to relax, take a breath of fresh mountain air and also the environment to have quality family time. We hope to return again next year and would highly recommend this house.

Well, what can we say...............our vacation were absolutely fabulous!

I have to say this was one of the most relaxing holidays we've had.The Villa is very beautiful, located in a calm area. Recently restored with so much care and attention to detail - a labor of love for Allegra. The pool and the garden are breathtaking beautiful and you can relax perfectly. The owner Mrs Allegra is extremely helpful; she also gave us some really useful advice and ideas on places to visit and tips for excellent restaurants in the area of Forte Dei Marmi, Pisa, Lucca, Pietrasanta and Camaiore. The house offers also a huge collection of CD´s and the best DVD´s for example; The Pink Panther, Death on the nile, Breakfast at Tiffany´s. We cannot recommend this house enough. Amazing Villa Bernocco

Two reviews from two sisters: Number 1 - We booked villa Barnocco for 9 days to celebrate my husband’s birthday with friends and family. There were no reviews of this property available at the time of booking so we had to make our decision based on other factors. We’ve contacted the owner Allegra Donn and barraged her with questions and concerns. Every email and phone call was answered and all our requests accommodated without delays. Allegra is super accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. She was a pleasure to deal with! Now, about the villa. It is a beautifully renovated typical Tuscan home with all modern conveniences. It is lovingly and elegantly decorated with period furniture, fully equipped kitchen complete with every imaginable utensil, serving dishes and cookware. There are amazing collection of books everywhere… and a huge selection of DVDs. All five bedrooms have individual AC units without which we wouldn’t have survived the heat. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice and clean. The pool was a big plus to cool off from our day trips to Lucca, Forte dei Marmi, Florence, etc. The umbrellas, lounge chairs and covers, including comfortable pillows were all brand new and super cozy. There is a state of the art grill (Big Green Egg) purchased for us because we asked and charcoal provided. The pool was being cleaned every night and lounge chairs and umbrellas placed for us every morning by the gardener. Allegra helped us to arrange for a chef to prepare celebratory dinner one of the evenings and it was amazing! We enjoyed cooking our own meals and having breakfasts every morning in the big dining room. The location of the house was very convenient for the planned day trips, shopping and the seashore. We rented a sailboat from Viareggio which is only 20 min away and had a great time basking in the sun and watching dolphins playing around. Great stay at Villa Bernocco! We would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to all looking for a private villa in a serene setting. Number 2 - Absolutely gorgeous property, new pool and impeccably redone old villa. Allegra has thought of every detail and provided us (a group of 9) with all the comforts of home. Antique furnishings in combination with brand new bathroom appliances/air conditioners in every room, made for a very comfortable stay. I would gladly recommend this property and hope to return here. Overall it was an excellent experience, thank you Allegra!
