Destination For Family Fun, Notre Dame, Romantic Weekends and Holiday Getaways

Our family invites you to make memories with friends and loved ones in our lakefront home. Enjoy being directly on the water with kayaks, inflatable tubes, a Maui mat and lots of yard games. There are no steps to the lake and the cottage and the lake is shallow enough for small children to enjoy! Pontoon boat available for rent at an additional cost (entire stay only),

This cottage has been equipped with all the modern comforts you could ask for. There is ample space for the family to relax and unwind. We have provided board games, Kan Jam and bags/cornhole games to keep the group engaged for your entire stay.

The Lake of the Woods is in central IN– close to Chicago, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, South Bend, and Fort Wayne.

The home has three bedrooms (Loom & Leaf memory foam mattresses: 2 California King and 1 Queen) a twin daybed to sleep 8 adults and 2 full bathrooms. There is also enough parking for 4 cars.

Ample indoor and outdoor seating, a well-furnished kitchen and clean linens & towels will make your stay extremely comfortable. There are also many local events you can attend: Notre Dame football games, Wagon Wheel theater concerts and more.

This location is perfect for a summer week or weekend, but the knotty pine interior, fireplace and leather couches can be cozy and inviting for a stunning fall or winter getaway. Great for couples and families alike.

Chromecast, WIFI and cable television available.

Reach out with any questions you may have. Be prepared to tell us who will be coming and where you will be traveling from. We will require enough time between bookings to allow proper cleaning of the home. At least one weekday will be necessary between bookings. Our preferred bookings begin on a Friday. We look forward to hearing from you.

Beautiful Home!

We loved our 3 night stay. 6 women in our 60’s! Loved everything about it, had a very comfortable and cozy feel. The pontoon we rented was a bonus. Will definitely rent this home again

Our family reunion getaway

This is the 4th time we've stayed at Debra's lake house. We love this place! It's plenty roomy, with 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. The home is just steps from the lake & there are plenty of lake toys, games & extra things to do in the garage. The house was clean & the rustic log cabin interior is a hit with our group! I give it 5 stars... We'll be back!!

Family Reunion

This was our 3rd stay at Debra's cottage, & it was just as wonderful as our first 2 visits. This is a cottage on a 400+ acre lake & Debra supplies plenty of water toys & a garage full of games. The cottage is always clean & there is plenty of room to spread out. Debra is always easy to contact if a question arises. We look forward to coming back & staying here in the future!

Perfect Family Getaway. Very Nice and Cozy Lake Cottage.

From the moment you walk in you can see the pride of ownership and care for every last detail. Very clean and well cared for. This place seriously has everything. We enjoyed a fantastic family vacation and never found ourselves in need of something fun to do. We had bad weather the first two days of our trip but enjoyed playing ping pong, darts and other fun indoor games nonetheless. We plan to make this a yearly trip for our family! I would highly recommend this cottage for your NW Indiana lake getaway.

Cozy and wonderful cottage! Cannot wait to return! :)

Very clean and cozy cottage. High end and very comfortable beds. Beautiful windows and natural light throughout, cottage feel but with warm modern comforts of home. Everything you need included. Great deck and dock and all the goodies for the water. Wonderful updated kitchen and bathrooms, great for the whole family. Peaceful with plenty of R&R and beauties of nature with the grounds and landscaping. I have stayed in many lakeside rentals and this is one of our favorites. Location is great just off US 31 and nice friendly town of Bremen close by. Nice lake with all the water sports and action for everyone. You won't be disappointed!

Summer getaway

We had a very pleasant stay at Debra's property. We live in Indiana but wanted a nearby getaway for the end of summer. We stayed there with 3 kids 7 and under who LOVED the game room. Debra seemed to have thought of tons of stuff to entertain everyone. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We used the grill one night and brought our own fishing poles and fished off the dock (didn't catch anything though!). We didn't spend too much time in the lake beyond just splashing in the shallow end as there was quite a bit of algae/seaweed. Overall we had a great time and would recommend to others! Many thanks to Debra for finding my computer charger I left behind!

Outstanding Lake Home

This was an exceptional lake property. My wife and I took our four grandchildren ages 6, 8, 9 and 12 on a 5 day vacation. We found this lake home only 2+ hours from our home. The property was everything the owners depicted. The grandkids spent hours in the lake right outside the home. The lake bed was easy to walk and play in. There was an abundance of water sport items for our use. The kids and even grandpa loved the Maui Mat. We used all four kayaks and we have fun in the game room. We played ping pong, darts and even tried a hand at shuffle board. The home was clean and and had everything we needed for our stay. Deb, our host was a great communicator. We even rented a pontoon boat during our stay which added to the fun. You'll love this lake home property!

A great experience!

The four of us enjoyed our time at the lake. The house is well-equipped, and we rented the pontoon as well. We enjoyed our time at the lake, and look forward to booking it again!

5 star all the way!!!

This lake home is beautiful beyond words. The owner takes great pride in making our stay wonderful. The home is spacious and beautiful. Every room is thoughtfully complete with anything you could need. Very clean with new appliances and electronics. The game room looked like great fun but we never spent any time as the weather was gorgeous and we spent all our time on the lake.

Awesome Extras

The home was very clean and meet all of our expectations. The extra room with the ping pong table and tv helped greatly when the weather didn't cooperate. The shallow entry would be perfect for young children. The dock was excellent for entry into the water for young and old. There was also a floating mat and kayaks that we were able to use. We will definitely be back next summer.

Great stay!

We had a 5 day hiatus at Liberty Landing. We had a fantastic time! Debra and Rob (hosts) have thought of everything to make their home comfortable and inviting. If you’re looking for a rental in the South Bend area, l highly recommend this property!

Peaceful paradise

We loved our stay - the house was a peaceful escape from the world. The owner has thought of everything you might need. We enjoyed using the kayaks and playing ping pong and darts in the man cave. The lake provided beautiful views and I will say it again, such a peaceful setting. We saw quite a bit of water fowl as we relaxed on the swing by the water. The bed was super comfy and so was the very relaxing day bed in the living room overlooking the water. The owner is super responsive and wonderful.

Great Weekend Getaway

The cottage was perfect for our family getaway. The fall colors on the lake were beautiful. The weather was warm enough for the kids to wade in the lake and take the kayaks out. The kids loved the game room.

Lovely property

This home is a wonderful place for a getaway. Very cozy, right on the beautiful lake. It is furnished very comfortably and has all the things we needed to make a few meals and enjoy our time together.
