Magnolia apartments consists of six renovated fully equipped apartments and two lofts we have selected the 3 apartments we like the most and are pleased to present them to you. Each apartment has two bedrooms and a small dining room, fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, air- conditioning and central heating.Apartment No 1 benefits from a private terrace whilst 2/3 have private balcony's with great views down the valley.
Great for families
The apartments are most convenient for families of up to 4 persons each. The fully equipped kitchen is very useful when there are young children allowing snack or full meal preparation.
All apartments have complementary high speed internet and free access to an on site fitness centre and pool. Our love for the environment and the natural way of life has led us to decide that this summer, our swimming pool will use a salt electrolysis system which is the only alternative way to disinfect pool water and completely remove conventional chlorine. This system delivers clear water without irritations, unpleasant odours and is extremely friendly to the environment.
Our aim is to offer you impeccable service and hospitality and make your stay pleasant and peaceful. Discreet daily maid service and the Owner/Manager on site ensures total relaxation and a warm welcome. Prices listed are for 4 persons a discount is offered to couples.

A lovely place. Really clean, great location - just 5 mins drive out of Fiskardo and really close to lots of little beaches. The pool and gym were great to come back to too.

Had a great week. Was slightly concerned how far the apartment was from Fiscardo but in the evenings, we drove down, left the car overnight and got a taxi back (8 euros) and walked down the next morning to collect the car (25 mins). Excellent restaurant directly opposite the apartments. Full every night. Was a great place to stay for a week to explore the north of the island. Apartment was very clean and tidy - cleaned every day and the pool was great.

Excellent accommodation

10/10 accomodation. Great location, easy access to fiskardo with 2 local restaurants. 2 bedroom accommodation with small patio. Beautiful pool. Would highly recommend

Perfectly set up for the sunshine

The beautiful pool and array of places to sit, eat and relax outside are the highlights of the apartments. While away from the bustle of Fiskardo, the port is a short drive or lovely off road walk away, making Magnolia Apartments an ideal base to enjoy this end of the island.

Lovely apartment and location.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay in Magnolia Apartments. Beautiful pool area, and really nice having the outside terrace area as well. Perfect location for enjoying the North of the island with easy reach of the lovely Fiskardo. Tavern opposite serves great good, as do the local tavernas just up the road in Maganos. Would return here again, many thanks.

Lovely place in a really good location

Lovely apartments , pool and gym. They are kept immaculately clean and Nancy leaves cakes and fruit on lots of days . Really friendly and kind. The kitchen equipment lacked a toaster and a couple more saucepans and the road was a bit noisy when you sat out at the front, but we loved it anyway !

Great location, modern, clean and well appointed apartment in lovely sleepy village.

We chose the apartment with the private terrace. It was gorgeous! Ideal for families or a chilled out girly trip (like we did). The apartment was well appointed with pool and a gym. There are a selection of fruit trees in the grounds. The Picnic cafe along the road serves great pancakes and omelettes for brunch. The tavern across the street serves lovely local food. Ideally situated for walking, magical small beaches and close to Fiscardo. We'll come again!

Lovely

Spent 5 nights. It was very comfortable. Serviced apartment so kept spotless. Kitchen equipped but no supplies at all so get your own oil, detergent etc. Pool is delightful and and the location is great even if you don't have a car. You can walk to Fiskardo and get a taxi back, and Dafnoudi beach is walkable if it's not too hot.

Perfect stay at Magnolia Apartments

We stayed in apartment 1 which had the benefit of a lovely ground floor terrace where we enjoyed the late afternoon sun. The kitchen was quite small but we hadn't planned on cooking indoors anyway. The apartments are located 5 mins drive from Fiscardo with lots of lovely beaches/coves along the way. We would say that a car is a must. Bob provided a very useful fact sheet with information about local restaurants and taverna's, which came in useful. We would highly recommend Magnolia Apartments to friends and family wishing to visit Kefalonia! Thank you and we look forward to returning.

Wonderful Relaxing Holiday

Just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at Magnolia Apartments. Thank you to everyone involved! The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and discreetly maintained on a regular basis. The swimming pool and relaxing seating areas were also much enjoyed and helped to make this one of the most relaxing holidays we've had ... We walked into Fiscardo most days - a pleasant half an hour walk down a woodland track (sensible footwear needed!) - and enjoyed some excellent meals at the various local restaurants on the harbour. As suggested, we used the local taxi service for the return journey - there was always a taxi available in Fiscardo Square and very reasonably priced. As well as a well stocked and reasonably priced small grocery store, Antipata also had its own eateries - can highly recommend both Picnic (fantastic for breakfast/brunches and we visited on an almost daily basis!) and The Old Stone House for quality of food, atmosphere and friendly service. Finally, a big thank you too to Bob and Annmarie of Greek Island Retreats for their friendly and efficient service, liaising between us and Magnolia Apartments for the booking etc and also for answering any initial queries we had.

Great location with good facilities

We had a ground floor apartment with a lovely terrace area out the front. The apartment was well appointed with all we needed. Proper size fridge freezer so good for icecream and freezing water bottles and the air con in the bedrooms worked really well, we tended to leave the bedroom doors open to benefit from the air con in the main living area. There is a great taverna about 100 yards away which we used a lot and Fiscardo is only just over 5 mins away by car. We would drive down and leave the car and get a taxi back and then one of us would do the 25 min woodland walk to the car park to pick up the next day. We would head out to a beach in the day and then come back for my daughter to use the pool about 4ish which seemed to be what most families staying did. Plenty of space around the pool so always somewhere to sit. A really convenient location for exploring some lovely beaches and getting into Fiscardo which is beautiful. If you want to make a day of it at the beach Jerusalem which is about 20mins by car has about 30 sun parasols and a great taverna, but walk over and book a table when you arrive otherwise you may struggle to get one if they are busy! All in all a great stay and really good facilities. The gym was sizeable and had a good range of equipment also. Thanks to Bob who provided us with all the info we needed in advance.

an absolute little gem !

The property was exceptional , spotlessly clean and tidy , and serviced every day by charming staff, Nancy gave us a lovely welcome and some advice on the local amenities even a bottle of wine to mark our arrival. The rooms were decorated to a high standard , the pool was lovely and clean , likewise the gym and the seated area in the trees in the garden To the rear of the house - we were a family of 4 adults , and we're really comfortable , the apartment is a 10 minute drive to Fiskardo which was delightful - recommend these appartments and the island to anyone . Affordable luxury!

We had a really lovely week here - the apartment was excellent - immaculately clean, stylish and well equipped, with comfy beds and good air con. The pool area is beautiful - quiet, cleaned every day, lots of luxurious loungers - and with the bonus of table tennis and a gym at the lower level. You can walk down into Fiskardo (which is beautiful) in under 30 mins if you have flat shoes - we got a taxi back each night for 5 euros which was really simple. The local beaches are lovely - pebbly but with crystal clear water and fairly quiet even in high season. Good communication from Greek Island Retreats and clear driving instructions from the airport. Definitely recommend.

Special setting and apartment

We had a fabulous stay at Magnolia apartments. The apartment was spotlessly clean and above average in terms of extras provided. There was daily room service, fresh bed-linen and towels every few days, and we even found cake waiting on our kitchen table on a couple of occasions. We loved the crystal-clear pool and relaxing pool-seating area (as well as the table tennis!), and the setting of Fiskardo is simply delightful. There was a bit of traffic noise in our front-facing apartment, but we soon got used to that. All in all, a wonderful place to be and relax.

A real treat

One of the best places we have stayed, certainly in Greece, but also in general. The accommodation is decorated to a very high standard. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The towels and linen, clean, crisp and changed frequently. The pool was a real treat. Again, finished to the highest of standards. And if you want a gym on to play ping pong, well that's catered for too. The cot and high chair for our 1 year old were brand new. The location is family friendly - close to Fiscardo and great (pebble) beaches (actually better than sand). We drove down to the south one day and were very pleased to have chosen our northern base. The Old Stone House taverna, just 2mins walk away, serves excellent dinners, while we found Picnic, across the road, provided a great breakfast and lunch. With the mini-market right next door to them, you do not have to go any distance for everything you might require. Nancy and her team in Greece can't be more friendly. Bob provided an excellent, responsive booking service, and super directions from airport to apartment! We would highly recommend Magnolia, and will certainly be considering a return trip next year.

Great place to stay

Booked our holiday through Bob at Greek Island Retreats. Booking was dealt with efficiently and all questions were answered promptly and accurately. He even popped round to make sure that we were all ok and happy once we had booked in. We stayed in Apartment 3 and were very pleased with the accommodation, especially the beds which were extremely comfortable. The apartment was cleaned every day and the beds were made. Air con in the bedrooms was greatly appreciated! A change of towels and sheets was made after 3 days. They also provided towels for the pool. The pool was great and although not heated, it was always warm when we got in. It is suitable for families and has plenty of seating around the pool area. We ate at the Stonehouse and the picnic which are literally a couple of mins walk down the road and the food at both is excellent. Fiskardo is a short drive and there are lots of places to eat and drink, our favourites being Theadora's for cocktails, breakfast and lunch, Rula's and Tassia's for dinner in the evening. The owner Nancy is very friendly and welcoming, as are her staff. She met us when we arrived and was always around in the morning and left a contact number for other times. Would highly recommend these apartments and Greek Island Retreats.
