Great home. Excellent communication with hosts. They went above and beyond when a tree off property fell on power lines and knocked out power.

We held a small wedding ceremony off-location but wanted a place to invite our closest relatives to stay with us. The home and property are so beautiful and absolutely spacious enough for us and our wedding party. It is stocked with anything you would need as far as cooking/grilling and non-food items. It is conveniently located close enough to any stores you may need to go to, but off the road enough it does not feel like you are in a city. We absolutely loved our stay there and would love to stay there again if we are in the area! The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Thank you!

A beautiful secluded find right in the middle of everything. large group coming together to celebrate grandpas 80 th . We hadn't had this many all in one place for years and it was the perfect place for it ! Lots of different places for people to gather, great lawns . We loved the feeling of it being a home and not a rental space . It's a great space for any large group !

Loved it. So easy to communicate with the host. Wonderful property - such character, privacy, and indoor and outdoor space. Incredible patio. What were called double beds by the VRBO site are really trundles (two twins) Picture descriptions are correct.

Our stay at the house was wonderful. The description of the house and grounds was spot on. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax and spend quality family time. The grounds allowed us to set up and play outside family games. There are 18 of us with children and grandchildren and we definitely want to return. Bill was an outstanding host! His communication throughout the entire process was exceptional and he was super responsive to our questions and concerns. The property was as advertised; it’s an older home, but has a ton of character that we all appreciated. The yard was nicely maintained and provided a great place for us to play cornhole and sit around the fire pit. We had a group of 16 and a couple of bedrooms were a bit lacking on space but we made it work. It was a great experience for our group that drove up from Margaritaville, Hilton Head.

What an incredible home and property! It was perfect for our large family 4th of July weekend. The historic house has so much character and space for all 18 of us to be comfortable. We played yard games and enjoyed sitting on the patio with the many chairs provided. The large property grounds are gorgeous and provide a private setting. The kitchen has ample dishes, silverware, coffee mugs and cooking utensils for a large group of people. The host and property manager were prompt to reply and very helpful ahead of our trip making sure we had everything we needed including a high chair, pac n play and yard games etc. check in and out was easy. The huge house is in such a great location and so close to downtown, Biltmore village and all the best things to do in Asheville. We would love to stay here again if we come back.

William’s home is a beautiful piece of preserved history. Conveniently located and easy to access, the property is well maintained and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect location for my group of 14 to celebrate my parents’ birthday!

My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this home. The house was a perfect fit! A large house with plenty of sleeping space, living space and a beautiful backyard with a view of the mountains. The home is over 100 years old so there is a lot of history and character but also very well maintained. The owner was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs.

Wonderful Family Location

Excellent Getaway!

We had a small family reunion here recently and everyone loved the property. The house was completely charming, the yard was very expansive and perfect for the kids to play, and the location was very near all that Asheville has to offer!

Excellent Stay

Beautiful home on outstanding property! We were 10-15 minutes away from everything but didn't need to leave the property because it had it all: land, outdoor games, firepits, etc.

This is a great home for a family gathering! Lots of space, including many different bedrooms that enable privacy. Beautiful backyard that enabled lots of kids to play, and functional back deck enables parents to comfortably watch. We had some challenges with the facilities, but Bill and team did what they could to remedy.

Thanks for the kind words Kristin. Glad you enjoyed the home and setting. It’s very special. I’m sorry we had a couple issues during your stays. For any inquiring minds, one of the electric circuits went dead so 2 outlets and the disposal lost power. My Electician came the same day (Friday) and couldn’t solve the problem. We brought in an electrical engineer that figured it out the following week after their departure. We also had screws come loose in the dishwasher and it tilted forward when opening the door. That was reported after the departure and we fixed immediately. It’s an old house and are constantly taking care of anything that pops up. -Bill

Great house - perfect location

We stayed at this house for a work team retreat and loved it. Plenty of beds/space for the 10 of us and great location (central to lots of activities around the Asheville area). Great communication and adorable property!

Beautiful home in wonderfully private setting even though on a neighborhood. Back patio fire pit and gas grill was such a wonderful setting for our family to enjoy outside. House has everything including space bedrooms and baths that you could need. Will be back !!
