Beautifully renovated charmer located minutes from Canal Street and the Indian River and only 2 miles to the ocean. This lovely 1955 bungalow cottage was transformed top-to-bottom. Absolutely new everything unless we DIY'd it ourselves. Every detail was considered from memory foam mattresses and bamboo pillows to the Keurig coffee maker to the outdoor shower, deck and fire pit. She's a 'smart home' with Alexa operating lights, tv stations and thermostat to the smart locks that allow you to create your own personal key code. Lots of love went into this cottage!
There's a park across with the street with tennis courts, soccer field, skatepark, playgound, basketball courts etc. so we've included tennis rackets and balls, basket ball, football, and even a kite. There's beach towels and boogie boards to take to the beach and a collapsible wagon to make life easy when transporting all the goodies. There's even room to park your boat in the driveway. We can stock the fridge with items of your choice with notice ;) Everything you could ever need to have the greatest vacation ever!

Incredibly cute house and the best hosts ever!

I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but once inside we we're instantly in love. It's like Joanna Gaines designed the place herself. Every detail was perfect and done with great quality. The bed and bedding wee better that a 5-star hotel. Thanks for letting us stay and an extra thanks for the treats for our kids.

Perfect Getaway

Lucyā€™s Dream was the perfect place to stay for my friends and I for a short weekend. Cute decor and plenty of room for us all. Tracy was extreme accommodating and her communication was great. Peaceful retreat

Lucy's Dream is so well curated, it was such a wonderful retreat for my family. The home is cozy and inviting and well stocked with anything you may need. Tracy provided excellent communication throughout our stay. So many beach accessories to borrow, my son loved the shovels. The patio is so peaceful and well lit for night time relaxation. Conveniently located to so many restaurants and within 5 min of the beach.

Lovely house in NSB!

Lucy's Dream is as adorable as other reviewers have described. It is clean, and Tracy provides all the amenities that you could imagine. Upon arriving there were cookies on the counter, half and half in the fridge for coffee, coffee, sparkling water, and even bottles of wine!! We completely enjoyed our 10 days there and highly recommend Lucy's Dream to prospective guests.

Felt right at home while experiencing a relaxing vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. Loved the look but loved the way we felt right at home the most. We liked that everything was available to use as our own such as laundry soap, spices ext. saves you a trip to the store and extra expenses. We also had complementary snacks upon arrival. Very nice touch and the cookies were delicious.

Cozy cottage

This little house was very cozy, clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Tracy was wonderful to work with. She was always prompt with replies to questions and offered some great options for places to eat and things do around the area. The personalized welcome note was very thoughtful. Peaceful retreat

This property is a bit of old Florida. Beautifully decorated in a comfortable way. Outdoor space is amazing, a wonderful space to relax. The queen bed is super comfortable and other beds appeared to have the same type of mattresses. Location was perfect for us, away from the busyness of new Smyrna beach yet only 2 miles from it. Owners suggestions for local food and attractions were great, we enjoyed the community. I 100% recommend Lucyā€™s Dream!

Comfortable and cozy

The house had everything you need, is close to everything and is in a safe neighborhood. We came for Daytona Bike week and were close to everything. House was very relaxing after a full day riding in the sun. Would love to return and actually go to more of the places the owner recommended and spend time on the beach. Highly recommend. Tracy was great to communicate with and made herself available if anything was needed. This is a must visit home.

daughter's engagement party weekend

Me. my wife. and father in law drove up to NSB to attend one of our daughter's engagement party. The our other two daughters drove in to join us. They all absolutely loved Lucy's Dream Cottage with all of the unique custom decor. The location was great for Flagler Ave and the beach area as well. We would stay here again for sure. It was a great experience

Time well spent

As a family with 5 children it isn't an easy task to find suitable lodgings. Tracy and Luis took the work out of the usual tedious preparation and ensured that we were provided with all necessities whether it be for meal preparation, activities of daily living or even a day at the beach. They also went above and beyond by assembling intricate details of the area which was extraordinarily helpful in devising day plans. Staying at "Lucy's Dream" is guaranteed to assist in the construction of a remarkable vacation!

Lucyā€™s Dream

This is about our tenth VRBO, and probably my favorite of the bunch. More creativity and attention to detail than anything in our experience to date. Both indoors and outside spaces were great. Warm and cozy. We invited friends over to show them ā€œourā€ house. Loved the beach theme. So many sweet touches like fresh flowers, cinnamon rolls and coffee choices. It was fun to walk to the historic part of town and the Canal Street shops and restaurants. We visited in December when there were cool evening, the outdoor deck and fire pit were great. A little Bohemian gem

Completely Delightful

Lucy's Dream is a lovely little cottage. We knew that we didnā€™t want a cookie cutter beach condo, and this place delivered. Tracy and Luis have made this home just that - a home - and it felt like visiting family. I loved the many decorative choices that made the home beautiful and one of a kind. We love being riverside in NSB instead of beachside. Thereā€™s a park just a block away that the kids loved and they spent lots of time there. Tracy was great to work with - quick to respond and accommodating. We highly recommend this home and we fully expect to return if itā€™s still available for our next trip.

Incredibly Cozy and Conveniently located

Tracy could not be more hospitable. Our cottage had it all and Tracy and Luis thought of everything. From spices and paper goods to beach towels and beach toys for all ages, there was nothing missing! It even has a beautiful outdoor area and outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off from the beach! The beach was a short drive away. Less than 10 minutes. Parking could Get costly if thatā€™s a concern, but you have options to park on the beach and pay or park for free on Flagler Avenue or one of the side streets for the most direct route. Many Local restaurants delivered through Grubhub if you didnā€™t want to go out. This cottage is perfect for all ages. It Even had a trundle under the double bunk for our soon to be 3 year old granddaughter! Luis displayed his handyman talents throughout this cottage. Itā€™s right out of an HGTV episode! Thank you Tracy and Luis for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful time!

Awesome Beach Getaway

Wow! What a wonderful experience staying at this property! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome stay. The host responded quickly to any questions that we might have. And gave us lots of ideas for activities to do and great places to eat. One of our highlights was taking the outdoor shower. It is truly a dream. I really canā€™t think of anything that would need to be changed to have a better stay. It was the best rental experience Iā€™ve ever had.

Lucy's Dream is named after us :) Luis and Tracy= Lucy. Luis is from Havana and came to America to live the American Dream. Lucy's Dream was born!

We put alot of love and elbow grease into this bungalow. Luis can build about anything so he did. I love to decorate and so i did. It was a ton of fun and we loved every minute of it.

NSB is the most perfect Florida beach town with 13 miles of sandy coastline, a laidback and friendly atmosphere, and surfing, fishing, and boating opportunities galore. Culture and the arts are woven into the fabric of everyday life here. There's a culinary scene marked both by internationally recognized chefs and seafood shacks that have been favored by locals for decades. Excellent backwater and offshore fishing, golf, historical sites, cultural events and eclectic shopping and dining experiences along historical Flagler Avenue and Canal Street. We love it here!
