Fantastic relaxing 3 night break at the Kings Head

We loved the cosy comfortable lodge - it has everything that you could possibly want and the lovely people at the Kings Head don’t mind if you bring your dog(s). We have stayed at the Kings Head several times now and the staff are so welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The pub is very inviting and cosy and the food is exceptional - so tasty and amazing value. We will be back soon!

A restful experience!

My partner and I enjoyed the relaxing ambiance which was contributed by the homely accommodation, friendly bar and well presented food. We are looking forward to returning before too long!

Fantastic - only wish it had been longer.

We were given a cabin which was more like an apartment with a garden. Very private & relaxing. Fully equipped & could have happily stayed for a month as opposed to one night. Was sad to leave. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening & had delicious food that would easily beat any Michelin restaurant. Breakfast next day - Eggs Benedict was superb. Staff were friendly & polite. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Thoroughly spoilt!

We love everything about the Kings Head. Family run business with lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble, the food is really good and we always come away feeling thoroughly spoilt. Highly recommend a stay here if going to Rye!

An enjoyable couple of days in a friendly pub

We were upgraded to one of the lodges which gave us more space with our dog and with the very hot weather it was nice to have the balcony. Staff were very friendly and service at breakfast was good. The pub is slightly outside Rye in nice surroundings.

Beautiful food, superior accommodation, warm welcome, comfortable sleep and excellent value for money. Steve and lisa are wonderful hosts with an amazing product. Lisa at front of house just tops off a magical visit.

Very nice clean cabin in the grounds. Perfect for a baby and dog. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Particularly liked the cabin as it had two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchen and a little garden. Perfect for travelling with a four month old baby who had to be put down at 7 pm and a dog. We were then able to relax in the lounge area. Having the restaurant on site, which did delicious takeaway food, was very helpful too.

Such a warm welcome on arrival. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff are helpful, friendly and kind. Food is absolutely lovely and can recommend the mocktails.

Wonderful stay complemented with excellent food and service.

Excellent weeks stay in the beautiful outside Lodge. Staff very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast and evening meals was exceptional and I highly recommend the sirloin steak. Steve & Lisa have wonderful personalities and this reflects in the business and through to their staff. I cannot recommend this B&B enough and would encourage everyone who visits Rye to call in and try the many varieties of drink or something delicious from the lunchtime / evening menus. Well done
