I was born and raised in this region, just 70 metres from Casa da Nora. This house has always been one of my happiest childhood memories. I grew up surrounded by the peace of nature, vineyards, farmland, and the magnificent landscapes of the Tâmega Valley.

Years later, I decided to restore Casa da Nora, preserving its character and identity while adding every modern comfort so that my family and I could continue to enjoy this very special place. At the same time, I wanted to share this retreat with guests who appreciate accommodation where comfort, privacy, and nature come together to create a truly unique experience.

It is a great pleasure to welcome guests from all over the world and introduce them to this beautiful region, allowing them to unwind, relax by the infinity pool, and admire the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the property.

The greatest reward is knowing that our guests return home with wonderful memories and the desire to come back. What I love most is waking up to the sound of birdsong, admiring the stunning views over the vineyards, rolling countryside, and mountains, and, from some areas of the property, the Tâmega River reservoir. The infinity pool, perfectly integrated into the landscape, is the ideal place to relax, admire spectacular sunsets, and simply enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding nature.

Despite its peaceful rural setting, Casa da Nora is close to historic towns, excellent restaurants, renowned wineries, Amarante Golf, and many of the region's top attractions, making it easy to combine relaxation with culture, gastronomy, and outdoor experiences.
