Just to clarify, for health and safety reasons the housekeepers do not set up baby gates or travel cots, but these are always provided for guests to assemble as needed. The pre-arrival email also confirms your dedicated property manager, who is your main point of contact throughout your stay. We hope you will be back to stay again soon!

Thank you for your review of Wren Cottage. We are delighted you found the property to be cute, cosy and in a great location. We are disappointed to learn that you did not contact the property owner during your stay to raise any of the concerns mentioned in your review. As part of the booking conditions, we do ask that guests report any issues during their stay in order to try and give the owner or their property manager a fair opportunity to rectify any issues. A contact telephone number and email address are provided in the welcome email in case of such an event. The property owner has confirmed that the log burner passed its service in October with no issues. We do hope that overall, you enjoyed your time exploring the Cotswolds!

Thank you Jackie for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay at Wren Cottage. We sincerely appreciate your comments and have shared them with the property manager, who extends his apologies for the housekeeping issues you encountered upon arrival. Had he been contacted he would have been able to promptly address and rectify these concerns. He is now working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure such issues are avoided in the future. Regarding the booking structure, StayCotswold properties are typically available in set booking slots—Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday. For any queries about pricing, we always recommend that guests contact our office directly for a full explanation. We are sorry to hear that you initially experienced difficulties reaching the property manager concerning the heating. The heating system at Wren Cottage operates via a HIVE remote control, and detailed instructions for adjusting the temperature are provided in the property information folder. As noted in the property’s location details on our website, Wren Cottage is situated just off the A429, which runs through the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold. Being a Grade II Listed period property, it features original single glazing, which unfortunately limits sound insulation. The property is viewable on the location map on the website. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to the Cotswolds in the future.

Thank you Marjo for your review of Wren Cottage. We are pleased to read that you had a lovely stay at the property. We will pass your feedback onto the property manager, to rectify the issues mentioned. The property has experienced a high volume of bookings over the busier summer months and a deep clean will be implemented in the quieter months. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Cotswolds soon.
