Binoculars are provided so you can watch the sailboats and ships gliding to and from the Kiel Canal—and if you’re here in late June, you’ll have the best view of Kiel Week, the world’s biggest sailing event. Inside, light and comfort go hand in hand. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows out onto the terrace, perfect for long meals and evenings by the fire. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooking island, ceramic hobs, a wok station, and a dishwasher, making cooking a pleasure. After dinner, curl up by the bioethanol fireplace or enjoy a movie with the Blu-Ray player and sound system. Three welcoming bedrooms each have a double bed and flat-screen TV, with extra space available on the sofa bed. Wellness is part of the experience too: one bathroom features a sauna and shower, while another offers a whirlpool and double rain shower (steam function currently out of service). Both come with underfloor heating for extra comfort.
