Your relaxing vacation in Morcote will find the perfect spot in IL BALCONE SUL LAGO! This modern one-bedroom apartment, set in a historic building in the arcades of Morcote, is newly renovated and beautifully furnished, and enjoys a beautiful view of Lake Lugano.

Entering, there is the living room, with a comfortable sofa on which to relax after a day spent on the lake, which becomes a double bed for the night (Please note: The sofa bed will not be prepared as a bed for your arrival, as we deem it proper to use it as a sofa during the day. You will find the bed linen, pillows and blankets in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa.). Next to it is the dining table for 4, where you can eat with family and friends. The kitchen is open to the living room, modern and complete with everything you need for lunches and dinners like at home. It is from the balcony that you can enjoy the best view of Lake Lugano and its green mountains: admire the view while sipping an aperitif on the small table outside!

The bedroom is double, perfect for couples looking for a romantic stay. A bathroom with shower concludes the apartment.



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

Any commercial activity within the apartment is prohibited.



The apartment does not have private parking, but you can park in the public parking lots along the street or in the large Garavello municipal parking garage (paid parking spaces).

Visit the beautiful Scherrer Park, with rare botanical species and various exotic plants. Don\'t miss the Church of Santa Maria del Sasso, the monumental staircase, and the Captain\'s Tower.

Stroll along the lakefront and under the arcades, discovering the stores, boutiques, and small restaurants, and reach the swimming area in just 5 minutes. From the pier in front of the apartment and the Morcote port, you can buy boat tickets and visit the lake\'s various tourist destinations.

A nearby parking garage (Autosilo Garavello) and connection to public transportation (bus, train, boat), whose stops are a few minutes\' walk from Palazzo Gritti, make it easy to reach the vacation apartment.



How to arrive:

Arriving by train, from Melide train station take bus No. 431 (direction Lugano, Autosilo Balestra) for 7 stops (about 11 minutes) and get off at the \"Morcote, Piazza Grande\" stop. Walk for about 1 minute (140 m) to reach the building.

Arriving by car, from the A2 motorway take the \"Melide\" exit and follow the GPS directions: in 8 minutes you will reach the apartment. Before the village, coming from Melide, at the beginning of Morcote, there is a large sign on the right indicating a municipal parking lot (Autosilo Garavello), where you can leave your car at affordable rates and there is also a bike storage room. From there, walk 280 m to reach the apartment.
