A totally brilliant stay. Amazing accommodation brilliantly thought out. A must for any train enthusiast right next to east coast main lineThe location is perfect for exploring Northumberland Will definitely re-visit if we can find availability

We had a long weekend on board The Stannington Pullman as a family myself, Husband and two children

We had a long weekend on board The Stannington Pullman as a family myself, Husband and two children and WOW what a fantastic weekend we had! My youngest child is a huge lover so this was the perfect weekend for him he was in ore the whole weekend watching the trains go by. You can see how much time and effort has gone in to making this such a wonderful place for people to stay and thank you for giving us the opportunity to be able to stay somewhere like that. The attention to details on board the cabin made it all the more amazing!

Stopped here for the weekend as a surprise for my 5 year olds birthday and he absolutely loved it, it’s in a great location for anyone who loves trains, the train itself is spot less, so different to anything you will have done before, I would defo recommend this stay to anyone and will definitely be trying to book this again next year

This is an unbelievable place to stay.

This is an unbelievable place to stay. We stayed 4 nights and were sad to leave. The carriage has been done up to such a high standard; warm and spacious shower, comfy bed, high-quality kitchen, spotless presentation. The WI-FI worked excellently and the trains don't disturb if the windows are shut, and are fun to watch from the outside if that's your thing. If I'm giving two pieces of advice it's 1) it's very remote, you MUST have a car to visit and be prepared to drive to places. 2) We visited in Feb so we did expect this but it was cold. The radiators in the bedrooms and bathroom/shower are excellent and the rooms were toasty, but the main living space and kitchen were very cold at times. This didn't diminish the stay though and we'd recommend to anybody thinking of staying.

Absolutely incredible, we loved it here and would go again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely incredible, we loved it here and would go again in a heartbeat. The train is Absolutely stunning and it has everything you could need. Its super cosy, theres a great big garden with lots of sitting areas, lots of games for outdoors.We went by train and didn't have a car, it was really easy to get to, 5 minutesin a taxi £10. There's a bus stop right outside which takes you into town, its every 2 hours which was fine for is. You could easily get a taxi though in the town, theres restaurants, a great farmers markets, a really nice park with a river wall and lots to see and dom definitelytry fortune cookies chinese across from the park. There's Plenty to see and do. I definitely recommend a visit to the farm shop up the road. Everything we got was absolutely delicious. 1000% would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely visit again! Thank you so much!! Gary the owner was really nice and friendly too.
