Hi Danny thanks for your thoughts. This is quite a misguided review. Unfortunately we tried everything to make Danny happy. He and his friends were the worst guests I have ever had to deal with and I have had hundreds of guests stay. In an effort to save energy and the environment we turn the AC DOWN to 80 degrees when guests are not there (the house was vacant for a few days before their arrival as well as turning lights off. I walked through and checked the house the day before their arrival to make sure all was well. Danny let me know at 10pm that the house was too warm for them. I made sure that they were setting the AC correctly and ask him to send me a photo of the thermosta. It showed the temperature in the house to be 76 degrees. He then called me at 10pm complaining that the house was unlivable and that they couldn't stay as if it was her 90 degrees inside. He called me again at 10:15pm and again at 10:30 pm all to complain even though I was doing everything I could at that hour to make them comfortable. I had already set up our AC guy to come first thing in the morning to take a look for them but agreed if that was too warm for them that we would be happy to refund that night. The AC guy came in the am and let me know all was working well and that the it is 100 degrees outside that AC units in any home can have a hard time keeping up. At that point the temperature in the house was 70 degrees. He changed the filter and made sure everything was working as it should be. I let Danny know at 10am that everything was working fine and that it was nice and cool inside and he still did not want to stay. I dont know if Danny was expecting 60 degrees inside but in a heritage home in Boulder that is just not possible. I think Danny and his friends are better suited to stay in hotels as they seem to have unrealistic expectations when staying in someones home. Danny was very rude and entitled and I would not recommend him to any host.
