Good to know
It's a ground-floor apartment, so you may want the blinds closed in the evening, and there's limited room for several large suitcases. The area is busier on Southampton FC match days.
Guest Access:
Guests have the whole apartment. Check in from 4 pm to 9 pm after collecting the keys, and check out by 10 am. No parking space comes with the apartment; there's pay parking on the street and a public car park under a mile away.
The Neighborhood:
Royal Crescent Road is a quiet street on the edge of Ocean Village. Walking times: Tesco Express 1 minute, the marina, restaurants and Harbour Lights cinema 5, Ocean Cruise Terminal 11, Town Quay and the Isle of Wight ferries 12, St Mary's Stadium and the Bargate 16, WestQuay 15 to 20 through the park, and the Mayflower Theatre 28. A ferry day trip to the Isle of Wight is easy from Town Quay, and the New Forest is a short drive.
Getting Around:
Local buses stop near the building. Southampton Central station, with direct trains to London Waterloo, is about 30 minutes' walk or a short bus ride, and the M27 is a few minutes away by car.
Other Things to Note:
ID check and deposit: after booking, the lead guest completes a short ID check and deposit step with our partner SafeGuest. You choose either a Damage Deposit of £250 (your card is saved and nothing is taken up front; it can only be charged for a claim SafeGuest approves after check-out) or SafeGuest's No Deposit fee of £30 (a one-off fee paid to SafeGuest). If you can't use the photo ID check, message us and we'll arrange a short video call instead. Please don't send ID documents by email. Your booking is on the Blue Puffin Stays Booking Terms (Guests) and the House Rules for this home.
Interaction with Guests:
Our local Blue Puffin Stays team looks after Marina Bliss and answers Vrbo messages every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with help on arrival until 9 pm. Your key collection code and directions come before your stay, together with an emergency number for anything urgent.
